    Welcome to Mafia Theme Guides!

Want to know how to play a specific mafia theme? Then you're in the right place! Click on the theme you want to learn, then scroll to your given Role.

Note: These guides assume a basic understanding of the way mafia is played. If you are a beginner, try RiceKirby's guide first. Be sure to familiarize yourself with /mafiarules before playing any theme.

    Simple:
    Default
    Zelda
    SI
    Vengeful
    Oracle
    Dethy

    Intermediate:
    Elements
    FE (Fire Emblem)
    FF (Final Fantasy)
    Ghosts
    Outbreak
    Ragnarok Online

    Advanced:
    Body
    CG (Lelouch of the Rebellion)
    DNR (Death Note Rewrite)
    Naruto

List of Terms (some of these are repeated from the beginners guide):
Villager/Townie - A role that has no powers, or very minimal powers. They are the stuffing of a theme, and usually at least 2 spawn.
Insp - Inspector. A role that can learn someone else's role by Inspecting them.
BG - Bodyguard A role that can Protect another player during the Night to stop them from dying to a kill.
PL - Distracter. A role that can Distract another player during the Night to stop them from using any Night Actions.
Spy - Can learn what happens during the Night, no special commands. See: Hax.
Vigi - Vigilante. A role that can Kill during the Night, but is sided with the Village.
Samurai - A role that can Kill during the Day, and is often times exposed upon doing so, and is sided with the Village.
Mayor - A role whose vote is counted as 2 or more during the Vote Phase.
Anti-Mayor - A role whose vote counts as a negative number during the Vote Phase.
Exposer - A role that can Expose during the Day, revealing their role to everyone.
Neighbor - A role that can visit someone during the Night, informing that person of the Neighbor's identity.
Stalker - A role that can Stalk during the Night, learning whom their target visited.
Watcher - A role that can Watch during the Night, learning by whom their target was visited.
Mafia/Scum - Usually, this just refers to anyone who isn't sided with the Village.
Miller - A role that thinks they are a Villager, but if someone Inspects or Exposes them, they appear to be Mafia, even though they are actually sided with the Village.
Mole - A role that is sided with the Mafia, but if someone Inspects or Exposes them, they appear to be sided with the Village.
Poisoner - A role that can Poison someone during the Night, causing that person to die at the end of a later night.
Priority Killer - A role that can Kill faster than anyone else in the game, usually before BGs.
WW - Werewolf. Usually, WW refers to a role that kills and PLs that visit them, and is often a solo role.
Kuja - A role that is unparalleled in the Vote Phase, by having 100+ Votes and usually a significant Voteshield.
GF - Godfather. Refers to a solo role which is significantly stronger than most other Mafia due to being alone. Often they can kill twice per night, have extra votes, bulletproof, or are also Moles.
PR - Power Role. This refers to some strong role on the Village, like Inspector, Bodyguard, Samurai, Distracter, Mayor, Vigilante, Exposer, Spy, etc.

Claim - To reveal your own role (privately to another player or publicly).
Counter - To contest someone else's claim by saying you are the actual role that they claimed.
Connect - To connect PRs is to inform them who the other PRs are. The idea is to make it so every unique role knows every other unique role.
Clean - Someone who has been cleaned has been ruled out as a mafia suspect, meaning they can be trusted with the Village.
Hax - Some roles have a chance of identifying other roles during the Night. This is referred to as Hax.
Lead - To initiate a Vote on someone that others can follow.
Lynch - The process of eliminating someone during the Vote Phase.
Meatshield - Meatshielding is a strategy that Villagers sometimes use: the idea is to claim a Power Role in order to attract Mafia to kill them instead of said valuable Power Role. Often it is risky, because if the Power Role thinks you are Countering instead of Meatshielding, they may try to lynch you.
Rand - Random Vote. Can also refer to any uninformed action, such as rand-killing, rand-PLing, rand-BGing, etc.
Reduced Deaths - If the amount of Kills during the Night is lower than is normally expected, there are a fewer reason to speculate as the cause. Usually, it means the Distracter was on a Mafia Killer that Night.
Reveal - To publicly confirm (or claim with evidence) someone else's role.
Voice - Someone who reveals information on behalf of a Power Role so that the Power Role doesn't get exposed.
Bus - Short for "throwing your teammate under the bus". It's a strategy used a lot in simpler themes. In order to earn the trust of the Village, a Mafia player might lynch one of their teammates, appearing to be a Power Role, or just a lucky Villager, which means people will assume they are clean. BTW, always make sure you have your teammate's permission before doing this.
Soft Bus - Similar to the above, but usually the intent is not to actually lynch your teammate. You might soft bus by voting a teammate if the lynch is already determined by the majority of votes. Alternatively, it can be used by suggesting your partner for a lynch, even if you don't lead the vote.
1v1 - A "One versus One" Vote. Two Players vote each other, while no one else intervenes. The goal is to test for Mayors, Anti-Mayors, or Kujas.
Spam - Typing your Night command in repeatedly. Sometimes, Power Roles can hax each other, so spamming the same command increases your chances of finding a teammate. Not to be confused with the kind of Spam that will get you server kicked.
PL Stall - Repeatedly Distracting the same person in order to stop them from taking action.
Voteshield - A number that is automatically added to a role if it is voted for. An example is Vaporeon in EV. Vaporeon's Voteshield is 2, so if 3 people vote a Vaporeon, then 3+2=5 so Vaporeon receives 5 votes.

    Final Fantasy (FF)

FF is a fast-paced theme, where there can be 3 or even more kills per night in a 12 player game.
    • There is no Safe Claim on the Village thanks to Kefka, a Priority Killer who hits faster than Bodyguards can protect.
    • However, many Power Roles on the Village can Hax each other, allowing them to connect.
    • Roles like Yunalesca and Judge Gabranth, who both can become Mafia Mayors with a vote of 2, can take over the vote phase late in the game after their teammates die.
    • Furthermore, the vote phase can be completely monopolized by Kuja, who has a whopping 999 votes and a -9999 voteshield.

    Moogle [Heroes]
Moogle is a Villager in this theme.

You don't have any special commands, but you should pay attention and try to lynch bad guys.

Meatshielding and Voicing are valid strategies for Moogle in this game, so make sure you know what those are.

It said I can't vote someone because I'm their teammate?

This means you tried to vote Krile! Krile also thinks she's a Moogle, but she cannot be voted by other Moogles. PM this person and coordinate your votes if you find her.

    Locke [Heroes]
Locke is an Inspector in this theme.

    Are you actually Locke?
If the game says you are Locke, heads up - you might not actually be Locke: you may be Zidane. Read your help carefully.
Zidane can also /Inspect, but Zidane will erroneously see anyone as Kefka 90% of the time.

    "[Name] is the Kefka!"
If you see this, odds are that you're Zidane.

However, you might be Locke who inspected Zidane: Zidane appears as Kefka to Locke.

Of course, there is a chance that you are Locke who actually inspected Kefka. However, you should never assume this is the case until Zidane is dead or you are sure you are Locke.

    Is Celes in the game?
If he is, then spam your /Inspect command. Celes haxes Inspect as well as Kill, which means if you use it a bunch, Celes will learn who you are.
The fastest way to do this is to type /Inspect [name] once, then press the up arrow button to copy the last message you sent. Press enter, press up arrow, repeat.
Celes will hopefully PM you. Ideally, he also knows who the other "Locke" is, which means the two of you can figure out which of you is the real Locke and which is Zidane quickly.

    Tifa [Heroes]
Tifa is a Distracter in this theme.

    Spam your Distract command!
In this theme, Tifa and Auron are buddies. If you spam your Distract command, Auron will learn who you are. The fastest way to spam it is to type /Distract [name] once, press enter, then press the up arrow button to copy the last message you sent. Press enter, press up arrow, repeat.
Likewise, Auron can spam his Protect command. If you see this message: "[Name] is the Heroes!" that means you haxed Auron. You should PM that person and tell them you're Tifa.

    Check for Reduced Deaths
Your distract command will block night actions. That means, if you distract someone who can kill during the night, there will be fewer kills. If you Distract someone and there are fewer kills that night, try Distracting them again. They might be Sin or House Solidor. However, remember that each Garland cannot be distracted more than once.

    What's a Kefka?
While usually your Distract blocks people from doing things, Kefka is the exception. If you Distract Kefka, he will change his target to Kill you instead. This is dangerous for you, but it can also be your advantage: tell Auron whom you are Distracting. If you die first, Auron will know that you probably found Kefka.

    Auron [Heroes]
Auron is a Bodyguard in this theme.

    Spam your Protect command!
In this theme, Tifa and Auron are buddies. If you spam your Protect command, Tifa will learn who you are. The fastest way to spam it is to type /Protect [name] once, press enter, then press the up arrow button to copy the last message you sent. Press enter, press up arrow, repeat.
Likewise, Tifa can spam her Distract command. If you see this message: "[Name] is the Heroes!" that means you haxed Tifa. You should PM that person and tell them you're Protect.

    What's a Kefka?
If you see that Tia distracts someone and then is the first person to die during the Night, you have reason to be suspicious. It's possible that Tifa found Kefka. In that case, it could be helpful to tell the Village to lynch that person.

Dark Knight Cecil (also DKC) [Heroes]
Dark Knight Cecil is an Anti-Mayor who can Protect himself. He can /Purify to become Paladin Cecil who is a Mayor who can Protect other people.

    Your Vote
Dark Knight Cecil (henceforth shorthanded "DKC") has a vote of -2. Be very careful with this; it can be helpful if you want to prevent someone (including yourself) from being lynched, but it can also cause you to be revealed.

Paladin Cecil has a vote of 2. This is very useful late in the game, especially if the village is outnumbered.

    So I'm Immortal?
Not exactly. As long as Kefka or Yunalesca are around, you can be killed. Kefka Kills before you can Protect yourself, and Yunalesca can Distract you from Protecting yourself.

    When should I /purify? Should I /shadow?
For most of the game, it's wise to remain DKC. It keeps you from dying (most of the time), and if anyone tries to lynch you, all you have to do is selfvote to prove you are clean. Later in the game, becoming Paladin is an option. If Auron dies, having a backup Bodyguard is useful. Also, Paladin's 2 votes allow him to win against many mafia in a 1v1 vote. Using /Shadow to return to being DKC is usually not helpful.

    Celes [Heroes]
Celes is a Spy in this theme.

    "[Name] is the Heroes!"
If you see this message, PM that person! This is either Locke or Zidane. If you find both Locke and Zidane, PM them both and connect them. The three of you are a strong web of information, but it's up to Celes to connect it.

    "[Name] is the Sin/House Solidor!"
If you see this message, you haxed a bad guy. Sin is usually Yunalesca or Jecht. House Solidor is usually Larsa Solidor or Judge Gabranth. Try to get this person voted or killed right away.

    Cloud [Heroes]
Cloud is a Samurai in this theme.

Look at me, I can kill!
Cloud is always revealed when he kills. In this theme, being revealed is usually bad for you. Since Kefka can kill you before you can be Protected, and Kuja can just vote you off, randomly killing day 1 or day 2 is highly risky. You are a powerful piece on the side of the village, so getting eliminated early on puts your team at a huge disadantage! Only kill when it's necessary.

    Your Top Priorities
Your job as Cloud is to deal with threats to the village that cannot be safely lynched. Most important is Kuja. Kuja has 999 votes, so it's almost entirely up to you and Lightning (Vigilante) to defeat him. If you learn who Kuja is, it's usually worth being revealed to take him down.

    Aerith [Heroes]
Aerith is a JOAT without a vote in this theme.

    What should I do?
You have many usable actions. You can use them as you wish, but mainly, using your /stalk and /watch to find enemies for Cloud to eliminate is your best bet. You can Protect /Cloud once per game, /Distract [name] to keep a mafia faction from taking action, and even /Kill [name] once to take out Kuja or any other threat.

    Lightning [Heroes]
Lightning is a Vigilante in this theme.

    Who do I kill?
Lightning is difficult to play as. You may help the village by killing mafia, but you can also severely cripple your team by killing a Power Role.
However, it's helpful to remember that two of your teammates - Dark Knight Cecil and Tifa - should usually be Protected. Make wise decisions, and try killing people who seem to be working against the Village - especially once Judge Gabranth (Mafia Bodyguard) is dead.

    Your Top Priorities
Your job as this theme's vigilante is primarily to remove threats to the village who can't be lynched. Most important is Kuja. Kuja has 999 votes, so it's almost entirely up to you and Cloud (Samurai) to defeat him. Pay attention to the Vote Phase to look for Kuja.

    Garland [Garland]
Garland are Basic Mafia in this theme.

You share a Kill with the other Garland.

    "Your target was protected!"
If you see this message, you probably found Tifa (who is protected by Auron usually) or Dark Knight Cecil (who protects himself).

Tifa is Distracting me, what do?
If you are being distracted by Tifa, you can take comfort in the fact that you cannot be distracted twice in the same game (although your teammate may be).

You can try claiming Tifa and voting off the real Tifa if you're feeling lucky. If you try this, have your teammate claim Auron to "confirm" that you are the real Tifa!

    Kefka [Kefka's Posse]
Kefka is a Priority Killer + Werewolf in this theme. He evades one nightkill, and can kill faster than any bodyguards, while killing any distracters.

    Choosing Kills
You have the highest priority Kill, hitting even before Protects are landed. If anyone on the village tries to claim and reveal information, eliminate them as soon as possible. However, you should be wary of Meatshielders.

    Inspect Shield
Because of Locke and Zidane's complicated relationship, it's unlikely that you are revealed early on in the game. If someone does try to reveal that you are Kefka, you can try faking Zidane, or claiming that your accuser is probably Zidane.

    Where's Kuja?
Unlike with most Mafia teams, you don't know your ally on startup! If Kuja is in the game, you should try to help him out by killing his main threats - Lightning and Cloud.

    "That person is your teammate!"
If you voted someone and got this message, congratulations, you found Kuja! PM them and team up to eliminate your enemies.

    Someone evaded my kill?
If you get a message from Kuja after choosing a kill, this is Kuja! PM them so you can form an alliance immediately. Be careful, because Krile will also evade your kill, but will not send the Kuja message - only PM someone who rhymes at you!

    Kuja [Kefka's Posse]
Kuja is - well, a "Kuja" in this theme.

    Vote Power
You have 999 votes and a -9999 voteshield, so you basically cannot be lynched. This doesn't put you in the clear, though, as the Village can take you out with Lightning or Cloud, and enemy mafia factions might kill you later on in the game.

    Stay Hidden
Because of your monopoly on votes, you can easily overturn a lynch on yourself or a teammate. However, it's best to lay low for as long as possible. If you vote someone and they are lynched despite not having the most votes on them, people will get suspicious. If Cloud or Lightning are alive, you could end up dead really fast if you are exposed.

    Where's Kefka?
Unlike with most Mafia teams, you don't know your ally on startup! Lay low and wait until late game - once most of your threats are gone, you can take control of the lynch and make sure Kefka can take the win if you are killed.

    "That person is your teammate!"
If you voted someone and got this message, congratulations, you found Kefka! PM them and team up to eliminate your enemies.

    /Trance [name]
You can use this to find out if someone can kill, either during the night or during the day. This is useful, because if you eliminate all the killers except for Kefka, you will win easily.

    Larsa Solidor [House Solidor]
Larsa Solidor is Basic Mafia in this theme.

You don't have any commands besides Kill, but your teammate Judge Gabranth can Protect you.

Because you are frankly less valuable than Judge Gabranth, you should pick the kills for your team - there is a chance that Celes will hax one of you. However, if Zargabaath is in the game, let him kill, because he evades hax altogether.

    Judge Gabranth [House Solidor]
Judge Gabranth is Mayor Mafia + Mafia Bodyguard in this theme.

    Whom do I Protect?
Unless you have a very good reason, always Protect your teammates. If Judge Zargabaath is in the game, be warned that he cannot be Protected, so don't waste your action on him!

    "[Player] evaded your protect!"
Sometimes, you will end up alone. In that case, it could be wise to randomly Protect people because you might actually learn something. Auron and Paladin Cecil evade Protects, so if you receive this message, that you means you hit one of them!

    Kuja
If Kuja is revealed, it could be wise to protect Kuja. This prevents Lightning from eliminating him, which will allow the mafia to control the vote phase. If Cloud decides to kill Kuja, he will be revealed, which means you can eliminate him more easily. It may be to your advantage to Protect Kuja until the Village is too weak to lynch anyone.

    Vayne Solidor [House Solidor]
Vayne Solidor is a Mafia Inspector.

You can gather information for your team by Inspecting people. Be sure to give all of your Inspect results to your allies using team talk.

You also resist Hax, which means you can choose the kills for you team since Celes has a reduced chance of finding you.

    Judge Zargabaath [House Solidor]
Judge Zargabaath is a Mafia Undetectable.

If you got this role, then congratulations, we revived mafia!!!!1!!2

    Unhaxable
Zargabaath should make Kill decisions for his team because he cannot be haxed by Zidane. As a bonus, you are immune to Stalk. Unfortunately you are also immune to Protect, which means you can't ask Judge to BG you.

    Jecht [Sin]
Jecht is Basic Mafia in this theme.

You don't have any commands besides Kill.

Because you are frankly less valuable than Yunalesca, you should pick the kills for your team - there is a chance that Zidane will hax one of you.

Yunalesca was the first death after Distracting [Player]
There is a chance that Yunalesca Distracted Kefka (and consequently, died). This means you should avoid killing this person. Kefka is not an ally, but if he dies, the Heroes will be able to coordinate their Power Roles very easily, ruining your chances of winning. Make sure not to kill him until the Heroes are defeated.

    Yunalesca [Sin]
Yunalesca is a Mayor Mafia + Mafia Distracter in this theme.

    Distract - useful or counterproductive?
It may not always be wise to use your Distract. It can be helpful if you need to prevent someone from Protecting a Power Role, or to stop Tifa from Distracting you, but it can also be dangerous, since Kefka will kill you if you Distract him. Only try to block enemy mafia from killing if you think you can beat the village without their help.

    Seymour [Sin]
Seymour is an Unblockable Mafia in this theme.

You can kill without having to worry about Tifa. If Tifa does Distract you, you will ignore her. In that case, you can pretend to be cleaned if there were no Reduced Kills.

You will also identify Tifa if she distracts you btw. Be sure to tell your teammates who she is so they can eliminate her.

    Anima [Sin]
Anima is a Mafia Killer + Poisoner in this theme.

Your game is fairly straightforward. You share a Kill with your team, and you can additionally Poison to cause an extra death the following night. FYI, Bodyguards can block your Kill, but they cannot block your Poison in this theme.

    Sephiroth [Sephiroth]
Sephiroth is a Godfather Daykiller in this theme. He cannot be nightkilled or poisoned.

    Nightkill + Daykill.
You can Kill both during the Night and during the Day. This gives you lots of damage potential - more than any other faction. However, you have the slowest kill, so even Lightning can outspeed you - not that it matters because you evade them. Cloud evades your daykills, so you must kill him in the Night.

    Threats
Generally, the only roles that threaten you are Locke, Lightning, Cloud, and Kuja. Prioritize on eliminating the Village Power Roles first, then get rid of Kuja before he gets rid of you. After that, you just have to hold your own against opposing Mafia factions, which is fairly easy because they cannot kill you!

    Ultimecia [Ultimecia]
You are a Godfather Poisoner in this theme.

    Vote Power
You have 4 votes, which means you can overturn almost any lynch that isn't backed by Kuja. Vote wisely so that you don't get exposed. If people see you vote someone who gets lynched despite having few voters, they may suspect you are Ultimecia or assume you are Kuja.

    Threats
The Village cannot do much against you once Cloud and Lightning are dead, so aim to eliminate them first if possible. You are dominant in the vote phase, but slow in the night phase, where other Mafia factions can eliminate you.

    Zelda
Zelda is a simple theme that is great to play if you are new to Mafia. It is fast paced.

    - Even though the name of the theme is Zelda, Link should be the one that claims and connects PRs.

    - Link should not claim if there is Koume in the game, but Koume only appears in bigger games.

    - Ganondorf can only be killed by Link or lynched during the day.

    - Often, there will be 2 Link claims. If this occurs, wait until the day where they will kill the fake claimer and you can PM them safely. Impa should protect one of the Link claims, and Tingle should distract one of the Link claims.
    Citizen (People of Hyrule):
Citizen is a villager in this setup. You don’t have any exceptions, except for the ability to vote. Make sure to know who Link is and follow any votes they lead on any other players.

You should try meatshielding players, especially Impa. However, do not attempt to meatshield Link when Impa or Nayru is around.

    Link(People of Hyrule):
Link is a samurai. If Impa/Nayru is around, and Koume is not, you should claim Night 1. You should ask for PRs to PM you so you can connect them and start killing during the day.

Make sure not to hit anyone that has PM’ed you, unless there are two people claiming the same role! If someone else claims your role, kill them as soon as possible and prove that you are the real Link!
Note: Skull Kid is the only role that evades your daykills, so lynch someone if they evade your kill.

    Zelda(People of Hyrule):
Zelda is an inspector. Your job is to stay low and give information to Link, who you should PM right away. If for some reason Link is dead but Impa is not, you should claim, ask for PRs and connect.

Although you are the Inspector, you can be Distracted by Kotake. Let Link voice your information and lead votes.

Remember, you are sided with the People of Hyrule, so don’t accidentally team reveal anyone, or get someone on your team accidentally killed! Be wary of Midna, who thinks they are a Citizen, but appears as Malladus to you! Also, Skull Kid appears as a Citizen to you.

    Impa/Nayru(People of Hyrule):
Impa is a bodyguard that can protect one person per night, while Nayru is a bodyguard that can protect two people per night. Your job is to make sure Link does not die and is protected every night!

If two there are two Link claims, hope for the best and choose one! If you are Nayru, ask Link on who else you should bodyguard, which would preferably be Zelda. If there are two Link claims, protect them both.

    Tingle(People of Hyrule):
Tingle is a distracter. The only mafia that can be distracted are the Vaati’s Minions and Kotake. You should PM Link as you are an important power role. You should also note that Malladus kills any distracters, and Kotake can also distract. When trying to figure out if someone you distracted is Mafia or not, care to remember that Vaati’s Minions share their kills, and Vaati has a different kill from them.

You should also PM Link on who you will be distracting each night just in case you die. If there are two Link claims, you should probably distract one of them. Be careful if you don’t have PRs right away, as you might end up distracting Impa or Nayru by mistake.

    Navi(People of Hyrule):
Navi is the spy in this setup. You receive hax on who is going to die each night. If you hax someone who is Mafia, you should directly say it in the chat if you are dying, or PM it to Link. Remember that Ganondorf, Skull Kid and Malladus can’t be haxed. You will most often end up dying if you decide to say who the mafia is in the chat, so be wary of that.
    Din(People of Hyrule):
Din is the vigilante in this setup. It is best not to kill the first night or when you don’t have PRs as you will probably hit a very important PR. However, if Koume is in the game, free feel to randkill cautiously.

You should not that you have one of the lowest priorities in the game, and you cannot kill Ganondorf. You should probably not claim as Kotake can distract you and prevent you from killing.

    Farore(People of Hyrule):
Farore is the anti mayor in this setup. That means you have a -2 votes, which you can use to save a person from the village, from being lynched. You are the only person that is allowed to vote Link. Also, never lead a vote on Link as everyone else will counter you.

After Link gives you PRs and or dies, you can help the village on voting out the other sides by voting whoever is on your side and is in risk of being lynched.

    King of Hyrule(People of Hyrule):
King of Hyrule is the mayor in this setup. This means you have 3 votes, meaning you can often save a PR or Link from the Mafia if they decide to lead a vote and outnumber.

You should keep your secret an identity to everyone but Link and PRs and try not to make it obvious you have more than 1 vote. You are very important towards the end of games, where they’re might not be a lot of villagers. Impa/Nayru should protect you if this is the case.

    Vaati(Wind Mage):
You are one of the Mafia bosses in this setup. You should coordinate kills with your Vaati’s Minions, as you have a separate kill from them. Be wary about Ganondorf, as you cannot kill him.

Your minions will often decide to claim Link, and if PRs PM them, you should kill them first. Be careful about changing kills as Navi is able to hax you. Kotake and Tingle may try to distract you, but it has no effect on you.

    Vaati’s Minions(Wind Mage):
You are one of the mafia in this setup. You should use /tt to connect with each other and Vaati. Be wary about changing your kills as Navi can hax you. All the minions share a kill with each other.

One of you should claim Link so to get PRs and confuse the village. You should kill anyone that PMs you as a PR or the real Link. Be prepared to die d1, however, if you do this. Be wary about Tingle and Kotake as they can distract you from killing.

    Ganondorf(Gerudo):
You are one of the mafia in this setup. You can freely change your kills as you cannot be haxed. The only person that can kill you is Link so you have nothing to worry about your Mafia. Link should be taken out as soon as possible. Try your best to support your teammates as they do not have the same special conditions you have.

You should direct them. Even though you may not be able to be killed, you should still take out the other mafia as they can easily vote you out. Also, be wary of Skull Kid, as if they are lynched, they will transform to Majora’s Mask and be able to kill you.

    Kotake(Gerudo):
You are one of the mafia in this setup. You can distract one person during the night. It is best to leave the nightkilling to Ganondorf, as he cannot be haxed. Be wary of Malladus, who kills anyone who tries to distract you. You should try to distract the Impa/Nayru and then kill Link, however this will be really hard to do the first night, but easier as the number of players dwindle.

    Koume(Gerudo):
You are one of the mafia in this setup. Link is scared of you, and will not claim or kill when you are alive. If for some reason Link does so, kill him with your daykill! You will be revealed however, and so most likely voted off! It is your best interest to do so, anyway, so Ganondorf can be free to kill without much worry.

Even though you will be tempted to kill, don’t do so if Link has not shown himself. You can kill freely if Link is gone, but do so wisely, as you will be revealed to everyone.

    Skull Kid(Skull Kid):
You are one of the mafia in this setup. You inspect as a Citizen, and it would be wise to hide among them. If Zelda foolishly decides to reveal themselves to you, you can either kill them or keep them alive for other purposes. You have the highest priority kill in the game. Link cannot kill you, and you end up as Majora’s Mask if you are lynched. You will be able to kill Ganondorf then!

You cannot be distracted or haxed. Even though you come back after being lynched and can’t be daykilled while you're Skull Kid, you still can be nightkilled. You are reminded that you lose your invincibility of being daykilled after you are lynched.

    Moon(Skull Kid):
You are one of the mafia in the setup. Use your different abilities to help Skull Kid, especially your expose, which you can use to identify roles. Your ability changes each night. If you are alone and only with citizens, they will most likely vote the first day.

You can expose any of the citizens during the day, or fake expose yourself as a Citizen. If the Citizens don’t vote you the first day, you can easily vote them off the second day. In large games, you should fake expose the first or second day, before too many citizens die and before Zelda has a chance to inspect.

    Malladus(Malladus):
You are the godfather in this setup. You receive two kills each night, which you can to use to get rid of everyone else. You should first try to get rid of anyone that can kill, whether they are a part of Hyrule or not. If there is Midna, you can use them as a fakeclaim if Zelda happens to inspect you and reveal your identity. Remember, Midna sees itself as a Citizen.

You also kill distracters if they try to distract you. This might be a disadvantage sometimes as Ganondorf or Link might know your real identify. Navi cannot hax you however, and you have a vote of 3 which you can start using to manipulate votes after you get rid of all the killers.

    Space Invaders (SI)

SI is a simple theme with a gradually increasing pace as the bunkers use their limited protects giving more opportunities for the aliens to kill. Regardless of the size, three different roles will always spawn. There will only be one laser cannon as well as bunkers outnumbering aliens.

    • There are no other PRs in the theme besides a revealed laser cannon and multiple bodyguards which means nobody else can be cleaned besides the laser cannon.
    • Common voting rules such as not voting at 4 with 3 villagers and 1 mafia are no longer completely viable because of the alien’s kill2.
    • If the laser cannon dies, the village automatically loses so all bunkers should consider something besides guaranteeing their survival for 3 night phases.
    Alien (Space Invaders)

You are the mafia in this theme with two methods to win: getting rid of all the bunkers or just the laser cannon. Both winning conditions can be tedious to achieve since the laser cannon only needs to be protected by one of many bunkers while there are just a large amount of bunkers who have the ability to protect themselves. In games with multiple aliens, the laser cannon may start a vote on your teammate. Unless your team can tie or outvote, it is recommended that you bus your partner or abstain from voting. Voting or countering the laser cannon will most likely get you lynched or daykilled. Randing without the laser cannon's permission may also make you a target for daykills. As an alien, working towards one win condition is better than compromising for both. You have a second kill that is usable every other night which is not shared with the rest of the team. This second kill can be used by /kill2. There are no inspects or distracts in this game to clean anybody else so your behavior is what makes the laser cannon as well as the bunkers believe you are a bunker/alien.

    Bunker (The Defenders)

You are the bodyguard and one of two different roles of the village. Your job is to keep the laser cannon alive so aliens can be daykilled or voted by the laser cannon. The laser cannon is already exposed so when voting, you are allowed to vote anybody but the laser cannon. If you're clueless, your best choice is to vote with the laser cannon. If the laser cannon is afk, you will have to vote who you believe to be alien based on how they act. In the end, the laser cannon is responsible for getting rid of the aliens and you should cooperate with other bunkers to keep both yourself and the laser cannon alive. The laser cannon may ask for advice on who to daykill or vote to which you are welcome to speak out. The laser cannon has no way to distinguish who is alien or bunker so if you are daykilled/voted out, it was only a guess.

    Laser Cannon (The Defenders)
You are the samurai that everybody knows at the start of the game. You are also the village's main way of getting rid of the aliens, the only winning condition. If you are destroyed, the village automatically loses so it is a good idea to make sure you have bunkers to protect you. Since nobody in this theme can inspect or distract, you will have to pay more attention to the behavior of all the players including who they vote and how fast they vote. As the only definite clean village, you control the voting phase as long as the aliens don't outnumber the bunkers. If people PM you saying they are bunker or alien, they may not be telling the truth. It is up to you to choose a strategy and pick out who is alien for the village to win. If you don't know who to daykill or vote, you can always ask for advice from other players even though you get to decide everything afterwards.

    Naruto
Naruto is a fast paced theme with the potential for a lot of nightkills due to bombs. Larger games will feature multiple daykillers, and the amount of kills coupled with the information each role is given may be initially overwhelming.

    • The mafia in this theme are powerful enough to prevent almost anyone from safely claiming. This means it will be more difficult to connect power roles.
    • Some mafia get stronger as the game progresses, such as Gaara, mainly due to his -5 voteshield. The Sound Four become the strongest team in the entire game if they can all make it to the fourth night.
    • However, the power roles within the village are very strong, despite having to silently connect via PMs.

    Leaf Shinobi (Leaf Village)
You are a villager in this theme. You don't have any special commands, but you are still useful to the village with your vote and your voice! Additionally, you have a very small chance to get hax on who is dying. Use this tiny bit of information to your advantage! As an added bonus, there is a chance that you may be a Strong Leaf Shinobi (revenges all nightkills), or in rarer cases, a Super Strong Leaf Shinobi (revenges all nightkills and daykills)!

It is important that the power roles on your team stay alive as long as possible. Voicing and meatshielding are ways to make that happen. Since no one can safely claim, voicing is much more valuable in this theme.

    Naruto (Leaf Village)
You are a samurai in this theme. While you can kill one person during the day, it does not reveal you! However, that does not mean you should be recklessly killing everyday. Use the information Sasuke (inspector) gives you to determine whether or not you kill, and who to kill if you do.

    "[Name] evaded your kill!"
Sarutobi evades all daykills, so there is a pretty decent chance you found him and can PM him. However, Temari and Jirobo also have a chance to evade daykills, so make sure these two roles are eliminated before PMing!

    When should I kill?
If Sasuke inspects a mafia, then you are safe to kill that target, as long as it is NOT Kabuto, Sakon, or Itachi. Kabuto will revenge your daykill, meaning you will die with him. Sakon will do the same starting on the 4th night. Itachi will counter your daykill, meaning he will live but you will die. If there are very few people left on your team, then it is probably safe to randkill, as you will have a high chance of hitting a mafia.

    Sasuke (Leaf Village)
You are an inspector in this theme. You also know Naruto (samurai) from the start, so you two make for a very strong duo. If Neji is in the game, make sure you spam your command so he can hax it and connect with you!

    Be wary of millers!
Sakura reveals as Temari, Tenten reveals as Haku, and Orochimaru reveals as a Leaf Shinobi when inspected. Zabuza has a command that also allows him to reveal as a Leaf Shinobi when inspected. However, if you find someone on your team, PM them to connect them with both you and Naruto!

    Kakashi (Leaf Village)
You are a vigilante in this theme. Your kill is one of the fastest in the game, only being outsped by Zabuza (as well as 4th and 5th gate Lee). As an added bonus, your kill also will pierce through protection! This is useful to help you get past some of the mafia bodyguards.

    When should I kill?
You should almost never kill unless someone has been confirmed as a mafia role or there is almost no one left on your team. Not only does your kill have a 35% chance to be haxed by any and every mafia role, but if you attempt to kill a power role, you will die instead, and this will put your team at a massive disadvantage!

    "[Name] evaded your kill!"
Gaara, Haku, Zabuza, Itachi, and Jirobo (all mafia roles) have a chance to evade nightkills. If you get this message, try either killing the target again the next night or lynching them.

    Sakura (Leaf Village)
You are a distractor in this theme. If Neji is in the game, make sure you spam your command so he can hax it and connect with you!

While you have the potential to block the night actions of the mafia, keep in mind Kisame, Zabuza, and Tayuya all ignore distractors. Furthermore, Haku and Orochimaru will kill you if you distract them! Lastly, there are mafia distractors that outspeed you, such as Itachi and Temari.

    Kiba (Leaf Village)
You are a bodyguard in this theme. If Neji is in the game, make sure you spam your command so he can hax it and connect with you!

There will be times where you will find yourself connected with multiple power roles, but you can only protect one of them! Choose wisely on who you protect depending on the scenario.

    Tenten (Leaf Village)
You are a one shot vigilante in this theme. You can kill at night, but only once per game.

Your top priority is to eliminate Haku. If Haku powers up, you are the only way the village can eliminate him.

    Hinata (Leaf Village)
You function as an anti-mayor since your vote counts as -3. You have no other abilities besides that, so during the voting phase, claim and selfvote to prove yourself in order to connect the power roles! Be warned that if Kabuto or Gaara are in, you are not confirmed even if you selfvote, as Kabuto has a vote of 0 and Gaara has a -5 voteshield.

    Sarutobi (Leaf Village)
You are a mayor and your vote counts as 5. This means you have a lot of power late game and can save your teammates during the voting phase!

    "You evaded a kill!"
That's right. In addition to your vote of 5, you also will evade all daykills.

    Neji (Leaf Village)
You are a spy in this theme. You can also protect yourself every night, but this command only has a 50% chance of working.

    "[Name] is the Leaf Village!"
This is one of your teammates, so PM them as soon as possible! Since you can hax every night command, there is a very small chance that you can connect multiple power roles!

    "[Name] is the Akatsuki/Mist Shinobi/Orochimaru's Forces/Sand Shinobi/Sound Four!"
This is a mafia role, so make sure you can get this person killed or lynched as soon as possible.

    Shino (Leaf Village)
You are a stalker in this theme. While a useful role, it is difficult for you to figure out a person's role based solely off of a stalk. Regardless, the information is valuable; use it to your advantage! If you stalk someone and they visited two or more people, that person is a mafia role! The exception to this is Sasuke and Kiba in larger games, as they can inspect and protect two people, respectively. If Neji is in the game, make sure you spam your command so he can hax it and connect with you!

"Your target [Name] didn't visit anyone during the night!" Is this person clean?
Not exactly. Remember that some mafia roles, such as Haku, don't have any night actions. Other mafia roles, such as Gaara, Temari, and Tayuya, ignore stalk.

    Shikamaru (Leaf Village)
You can distract one person once a game. You can also expose one person's role during the day once a game. This is a safe way to either expose and lynch a mafia or find someone on the village that can connect the power roles. Remember that Orochimaru reveals as a Leaf Shinobi, so be careful! Lastly, if Neji is in the game, make sure you spam your command so he can hax it and connect with you!

    Choji (Leaf Village)
You are basically a standard villager, but you will know who Shikamaru is when he distracts or exposes someone. Once you have found him, PM him, and be his voice. This may also allow you to connect other power roles.

    Ino (Leaf Village)
You are a distractor, but you can only distract three times, so make sure they count! Be on the lookout for Kisame, Zabuza, and Tayuya, as they all ignore distractors. Furthermore, Haku and Orochimaru will kill you if you distract them! Lastly, there are mafia distractors that outspeed you, such as Itachi. If Neji is in the game, make sure you spam your command so he can hax it and connect with you!

    Lee (Leaf Village)
You are a vigilante with the ability to increase your power every night by opening a gate. Your kills also ignore protection!
    1st gate: Standard nightkill.
    2nd gate: Higher priority nightkill.
3rd gate: Ignores distractors, but dies after 3 nights.
4th gate: Even higher priority nightkill.
5th gate: Highest priority command (kill) in the game.

How many gates do I open?
Opening the 2nd gate is normally enough. Only open the 3rd gate (and subsequent gates) if things begin to look dire for the village. Also, only kill when necessary to reduce the risk of killing power roles.

    "[Name] evaded your kill!"
Gaara, Haku, Zabuza, Itachi, and Jirobo (all mafia roles) have a chance to evade nightkills. If you get this message, try either killing the target again the next night or lynching them.

    Itachi (Akatsuki)
You are a mafia inspector. Be sure to give any information you find to your teammate. You have a chance to evade nightkills, and you counter daykills! You also can poison once a game, and distract once a game. Furthermore, you have a chance to hax nightkillers.

    Kisame (Akatsuki)
You are a mafia bodyguard. You are able to protect both yourself and your teammate from kills and poisons, making you two very difficult to take down. As a bonus, you can't be distracted and you have a vote of 2. In very large games, this becomes a vote of 3. Additionally, you have a decent amount of hax on kill, so you can avoid killing the same target that other mafias may be aiming at to maximize damage against the village.

    Haku (Mist Shinobi)
Chances are that you are alone, as Zabuza only spawns in larger games. You are not to be underestimated, as you can't be nightkilled, kill any distractors, and can kill during the day without being revealed!

    What about Itachi?
As a solo role, you really do have an answer to almost anything. Once a game, you can kill someone at night; this kill ignores protection. It is extremely important that you save this kill solely for Itachi or the very end of the game.

    Is Zabuza in?
In larger games with Zabuza, you only have a 35% to evade nightkills. You retain your daykill and your ability to kill distractors, but you lose your one time nightkill. Don't worry because Zabuza has a nightkill to make up for it. If Zabuza dies, the real fun begins. You will gain the ability to kill every night, have a 50% chance to evade nightkills, a vote of 2, and you will counter all daykills!

    Zabuza (Mist Shinobi)
Your kill outspeeds all bodyguards and distractors, so you can eliminate just about anyone by yourself.

    Defense
If you choose not to kill, you can /mist yourself instead. This allows you to evade nightkills, poison, and reveal as a Leaf Shinobi if you are inspected. There is one catch: it only has a 65% success rate.

    Kill or mist?
If Haku is in the game, it is safer to mist to protect yourself, while Haku can safely kill during the day. If you are alone, it is better to kill to keep pressure on both the village and other mafia factions.

    Orochimaru (Orochimaru's Forces)
You can kill both at night and during the day. Despite the high kill potential, there are quite a few roles that can evade nightkills and/or daykills. Be careful! Remember that Itachi counters daykills. To give yourself some extra protection, you have a vote of 2, reveal as a Leaf Shinobi when inspected, and you kill distractors in larger games. Lastly, you can't be haxed, therefore you should be the one making the kills.

    Kabuto (Orochimaru's Forces)
You are a mafia bodyguard and mafia bomb. If anyone kills you, whether it be during the day or night, your killer will die as well. Make sure you are protecting Orochimaru every night, as he is the strongest member of your team. If you are the last member of your team, try protecting other mafia roles if you know who they are.

    What happened to my vote?
You have a vote of 0, but this can become handy in a few situations. The main use it has is for you to fakeclaim Hinata, selfvote, and ask for power roles to PM you. If this works, your team can easily inflict massive damage against the village.

    Pawn (Orochimaru's Forces)
You are a basic mafia that can only kill. Make sure you leave the killing to Orochimaru since he can't be haxed. If Orochimaru is dead, you should make the kills, as you are less valuable than Kabuto.

    Sand Ninja (Sand Shinobi)
You are a basic mafia that can only kill. Since there is a chance that your team can be haxed and you're the least valuable (but not useless) member of your team, you should be the one killing.

    Temari (Sand Shinobi)
You are a mafia distractor. You also ignore stalk and have a nifty 25% chance to evade daykills.

To distract or not to distract?
Despite Haku and Orochimaru being able to kill distractors, more often than not, you will want to distract. You can block the village from gathering information or prevent other mafia from potentially killing you or one of your teammates. As the game progresses, you will be able to PL stall a mafia faction while your teammates slowly whittle away at your opposition.

    Kankuro (Sand Shinobi)
You share a factional kill with your team. You are also a mafia poisoner. However, you can convert yourself to become a mafia bodyguard instead of a mafia poisoner, and vice versa.

    Poison or protect?
If you have teammates with you, protect is more useful for keeping them alive. Gaara is the strongest member of your team, so protect him first. If he dies, protect Temari next. If you are alone, poisoning is more useful for additional deaths.

    Gaara (Sand Shinobi)
You share a factional kill with your team. You can choose between two forms, freely switching between them as you please.
Offensive form: You can kill a second person every night. This kill is unshared and pierces through protection.
Defensive form: You ignore stalk, have a 35% chance to evade nightkills, and have a -5 voteshield.

    Which form do I use?
For the first and second nights, stay in offensive form. Once the third night comes or if Kankuro (bodyguard) dies, switch to defensive form. It will allow you much more control and survivability as the game progresses.

    Kidomaru (Sound Four)
You are a mafia stalker. On the fourth night, you will also become unhaxable, meaning you should be the one killing to protect your teammates from being haxed.

    Tayuya (Sound Four)
You are a mafia distractor. Since your team has the most members of any mafia faction, your distract is the slowest in the game. On the fourth night however, you will ignore distractors, stalk, and gain the ability to inspect.

    Sakon (Sound Four)
You are a mafia poisoner. On the fourth night, you will kill anyone that uses an action on you (except for Shikamaru's expose).

After you power up, you basically want to draw as much attention to yourself as possible without getting lynched. At this point in the game, you singlehandedly have the most kill potential.

    Jirobo (Sound Four)
You are the mafia bodyguard. On the fourth night, you have a 50% chance to evade both nightkills and daykills.

    Who do I protect?
You probably have the most difficult decisions to make out of any role in this theme. Each one of your teammates provides valuable assets.
Kidomaru: Stalk, unhaxable. He is the safest player on your team.
Tayuya: Distract, inspect. She provides the most information and control on your team.
Sakon: Poison. Revenges or counters almost every command. He provides the most kill pressure on your team.

Starting on the fourth night, do NOT protect Sakon, or else he will kill you.

Another tip for any mafia role
If Itachi isn't in the game, feel free to spam your kill command. There is a very small chance that Leaf Shinobis will hax who is dying (they can't hax who is killing, so you will never be revealed). If they reveal their hax, you know who they are, and can either kill them to avoid crossfiring (be wary of the Strong Leaf Shinobi though), or take a risk and aim for a possible power role.

    Outbreak
Outbreak is a relatively slow-paced theme that revolves around a poison. With the amount of abilities and hax that the mafia roles have, there will be a lot of information to constantly keep track of throughout the game.
    • The poison in this theme can be spread from one role to another. This often leads to numerous deaths at any point in the game.
    • The poison in this theme also makes it difficult for any role to safely claim, as the medic (detoxer) doesn't spawn until 24 people.
    • There are more bodyguards and distractors in this theme than most themes, making for a relatively slow-paced game.
    • Almost every power role has limited charges of their commands. This means the village needs to be precise when making decisions at night.

    Civilian (Village)
You are a villager. However, if you are lynched, you can reveal one person's role before dying. In some cases, you may be able to kill someone instead.

If you are poisoned, claim and selfvote (assuming there is no confirmed mafia role). You are already going to die to poison, so you might as well help the village out by getting an expose in.

    Assassin (Village)
You are a vigilante. However, you can only kill three times a game. All three kills can be used on the same night as well.

    When do I kill?
Only kill when you have confirmed a mafia role. Since you only have three kills, each missed kill is that much more costly to the village.

    Chemist (Village)
You are a bomb, but not just any bomb. Each night, you can change what kind of bomb you become!
    Nitrite: daybomb
    Hydroxide: nightbomb
Phosphate: votebomb (Kills the first voter if lynched.)

    Which bomb should I be?
In very small games, nitrite is your best option. In very large games, hydroxide is the better of the three. Phosphate, while rarely used, does have its uses. The decision is ultimately up to you.

    Detective (Village)
    You are a stalker.

"Your target [Name] didn't visit anyone during the night!" Is this person clean?
Not exactly. Remember that some mafia roles, such as UFO, don't have any night actions. Other mafia roles, such as Infector, ignore stalk.

    Firefighter (Village)
You are an exposer. You can only expose twice a game, so make them count. You won't be revealed when you expose either.

    When do I expose?
It's better to expose as early in the game as possible to either find a mafia to lynch or find someone that can connect power roles. When the day phase begins, if there are mafia daykillers in, such as UFO, Thunder, or Hurricane, wait for those roles to kill before exposing. The last thing you want to do is reveal a power role only to have them be daykilled immediately after your expose.

    First Lady (Village)
You are a neighbor. You have the ability to reveal your role to someone else every night. Since you know the President (mayor), make sure you connect them with any power role you find.

Since you only know one other person at the beginning of the game, it can be quite risky to reveal yourself to others early in. On the other hand, your team will gain a nice advantage if you can find power roles early on. Assess the situation and determine if it is worth the risk to reveal yourself or not.

    General (Village)
You are a samurai. You can only kill three times, and these kills will reveal you. However, since you evade daykills, you can safely claim once the Infector is out. Be careful because you can still be infected!

    When do I kill?
With limited kills, you will need to make them count. Save them for when the mafia have been confirmed or you're running low on teammates. Remember that once you have killed, you will become a top target, but will also be able to connect power roles.

    Guard (Village)
You are a bodyguard. You can only protect four times a game, but can protect up to two people each night.

If the Alien is not in the game, spam your command. The Mailman (spy) will hax it and connect with you.

    When do I protect?
With only four protects, it is not wise to randomly protect people early in the game. Later on, you may gather information or find power roles; that is when you should begin using your protects.

    Mailman (Village)
    You are a spy.

    "[Name] is the Village!"
This is one of your teammates, so PM them as soon as possible! Since you can hax kills and protects, there is a very small chance that you can connect multiple power roles!

    "[Name] is the Aliens/Drug Dealers/Indians/Outbreak/Supernatural!"
This is a mafia role, so make sure you can get this person killed or lynched as soon as possible.

    Medic (Village)
You are a detoxer and can cure people of their poison. With the poison spreading during the game, you will become more and more valuable the longer the game progresses. As a bonus, your command also inspects your target, and you have a 50% chance of evading poison!

    Police Officer (Village)
You are an inspector. Unfortunately, since you have the easiest way of gathering information, you can only inspect every other night or your inspect will only work 50% of the time.

Pay careful attention to any kills or hax during the night as well as infected claims during the day to avoid wasting inspects on dead targets.

    President (Village)
You are a mayor. You also know the First Lady (neighbor), so make sure you connect her with any power roles you come into contact with!

With your extra votes, you'll become stronger as the game progresses. Try to lay low and avoid drawing attention to yourself early on.

    Prostitute (Village)
    You are a distractor.

Be alert for mafia roles that can't kill during the night, such as Head Shrinker, Hurricane, Rain, Thunder, and UFO. Also remember that if you distract the Savage, it will kill you!

    Salesman (Village)
You are essentially a jack of all trades. You have access to every night command your fellow power roles have (except for the First Lady and Medic), but you can only use each of them once a game.

When do I use any of my commands?
This is honestly a judgment call. You can use something as simple as your inspect or even your stalk early on for acquiring information and possibly connecting with a power role. However, you will probably want to save most of your commands, especially your kill, for later in the game in case your team has lost many of its power roles.

    Soldier (Village)
You are a samurai, and your kills reveal you. Since you only appear in smaller games, the main threat to you is the UFO. You can wait until the UFO has used its daykill before you kill. This way, you are safe for that day and will have a chance at sniping the UFO the next day.

    Alien (Aliens)
    You are a basic mafia.

You get decent hax on both protect and distract. With your hax, work together with your teammates to take control of the game.

    Alien Mesmerizer (Aliens)
You are a mafia distractor and a mafia inspector.

If the salesman isn't in, you have the fastest distract in the game. If your team has the numbers, you can PL stall to control the night, use the UFO's daykills to control the day, and use your numbers to control the vote.

    UFO (Aliens)
You are a mafia daykiller. Your kills don't reveal you, so you are safe to kill each day. You also can't be poisoned, which will definitely help you against the rapidly spreading poison in this theme.

Since you have no night actions, try to bait the Prostitute to distract you. This won't stop your teammates' nightkill, so you may be seen as clean and they may PM you.

    Alcoholic (Drug Dealers)
    You are a mafia bodyguard.

    Which teammate do I protect?
In just about every situation, you will want to protect the Heroin Addict because of his expose and additional kill he receives on lynch; this will give your team the most kill pressure.
However, you can choose to protect the Meth Dealer if you want more control through his distracts.

    Heroin Addict (Drug Dealers)
You are a mafia exposer who can also fake expose someone as a certain role. If you are lynched, you will be able to kill someone before dying. This kill outspeeds bodyguards and distractors, so it can't be stopped.

    Addicted to chaos
This is probably the most exciting role in the game. You can use your expose as an inspect, and the village can't confirm it since some roles can be faked. You can also fake expose people in an attempt to get them lynched. If you are poisoned, get your teammates to lynch you. Not only does this "clean" your partners a little bit, but it will give you an additional guaranteed kill in addition to your /infect, while your partners will still have their shared nightkill. Paired together, that gives your team a total of three kills in one night.

    Meth Dealer (Drug Dealers)
    You are a mafia distractor.

    Be careful!
The Alien gets decent hax on distract. Communicate with your team and pick a target to distract. Changing your distract too often will cause you to get haxed, and the Alien Mesmerizer's distract is faster than yours.

    Chieftain (Indians)
You are a mafia bodyguard and a mafia stalker.

If you stalk someone and they visited two people, they are most likely mafia. If they visited three or more people, they are probably sided with the village (Assassin, Guard, or Salesman). Protect the Head Shrinker, as his two poisons per night offer your team much more kill pressure.

    Head Shrinker (Indians)
You are a mafia poisoner, able to poison two people during the night. You also have a -2 voteshield.

    Play it safe
Since your poison takes three nights to kill, you will need to lay low, especially early in the game. The longer the game goes, the better your chances of winning, as your poisons will result in numerous kills and your voteshield will help protect you during the voting phase. You'll also have the Chieftain protecting you at night!

    Indian (Indians)
    You are a basic mafia.

As the weakest member of your team, you should be the one killing to protect your teammates from being haxed.

    Infector (Outbreak)
You are a mafia poisoner (and essentially the star of this theme). Your poison is anything but ordinary; any infected target can spread the poison to one other person before dying. As the host of the virus, you are immune to it, and therefore can't be poisoned. You also have a 50% chance to evade nightkills and ignore stalk. Long story short, you're tough to track or take down. Make sure your team doesn't overlap its kills with your poison to maximize your damage potential.

    Outbreak Mastermind (Outbreak)
You are a mafia detoxer. You can cure anyone of poison, but only twice a game.

    The Frame Game
Naturally, you would want to cure yourself or your teammates if they happen to get poisoned. However, some people will tell everyone if they are infected and say who they are infecting before they die. By curing someone, you can frame them by making them appear as if they faked poison or accuse them of being sided with the outbreak.

Why cure someone who isn't on my team?
Sometimes you may find your team at a disadvantage in terms of numbers. If you are able to find another mafia, it may be in your best interest to cure them so they can wreak more havoc on the village. (Be aware that this plan obviously has its risks and flaws.)

    Savage (Outbreak)
You are a werewolf, but you not only kill distractors, but also kill protectors!

Without being obvious, you will want to draw a bit of attention to yourself. If the village sees you as a threat, they may send their Prostitute to distract you; now they've lost a power role. If the village feels you might be a power role or helpful to them (say you're infected and their Medic chooses to cure you), they might send their Guard to protect you; again, they will lose a power role. The same applies to other mafia factions. Lastly, don't worry about being distracted. While it will block your team's kill for that night, remember that the Infector can still spread its poison and the Outbreak Mastermind can still cure you of any poison you may have.

    Lightning (Supernatural)
You are a godfather that can kill two people every night, but you can't kill until the fourth night. While you are dormant and wait to power up, you will have a 30% chance to evade nightkills. All the while, you can't be poisoned.

    Thunder (Supernatural)
You are a mafia bodyguard. Starting on the fourth day, you will be able to daykill without being revealed. While you wait to power up, you can't be poisoned and have a 50% chance to evade nightkills.

If Rain inspects and connects with you, make sure to protect them, as they are the most important member on your team. Otherwise, protect Lightning.

    Rain (Supernatural)
You are a mafia safeguarder and mafia inspector. However, your inspects happen during the day, which means that there is no chance a distract stops you. You don't know your teammates though, so you will have to rely on your inspects to find them! If you are killed or lynched, they will both die with you. You have a vote of 1.1 and an immunity to poison for a bit of increased survivability.

If both of your teammates die while you are still alive, you will convert to Hurricane. You will retain your inspect during the day, but will also be able to kill every day without being revealed, and gain a vote of 500.

Sit tight during the game. You will basically be unable to do anything until you have found your teammates and/or they have powered up. Once you have found your teammates, your team will be nearly unstoppable as long as Thunder protects you.

    CG (Lelouch of the Rebellion)

Lelouch of the Rebellion is a very chaotic theme, with many unique mechanics. It could be helpful to know the ins and outs of mafia before trying this.
    • Each role has a unique set of Win Conditions. Normally, this means you have a set of 3 enemies to defeat. Once they die, you win.
    • Lelouch and Charles can manipulate people's votes, so it can be hard to tell what's going on in the Vote Phase unless you really pay attention.
    • Kallen and Suzaku can convert into Recon, Radiant, or Flight to gain new abilities. Don't get overwhelmed, they're basically the same for both of them.
    Lelouch
Lelouch can manipulate people's vote power.

    Promote? Demote?
You can give someone (even yourself) +3 votes with /promote, or you can give someone -2 votes with /demote. This is permanent, so make sure to use it wisely. If used correctly, you can control the Vote Phase.

    Someone evaded my Promote/Demote?
Like it says, this is either C.C. (one of your most important allies) or Charles (your most dangerous enemy). You can try Exposing them to make sure it's safe to PM them.

    Exposes
You have access to the only true expose in the game. However, you also have the option of faking an Expose to confuse all the other players. It's up to you to decide how to play with your action, but having access to real information is a powerful luxury that you should take advantage of.

    Vs Cornelia
Even if you promote yourself, Cornelia will outvote you 1v1 due to her vote of 4. Because she can Safeguard herself, you can't just demote her - you'll have to be creative to defeat her. If she uses her kill, her vote will be halved.

    Vs Schneizel
If you can /demote Schneizel, you've rendered him completely powerless. Beware, though, as he can Silently Distract, which means he can block your Promote/Demote and you won't know if he used it on you. If you /demote him and he still seems to have his 5 votes, you were probably Distracted, which means you need to get him off you before you can do anything.

    Vs Charles
Charles can cancel your Promote with his Brainwash, which blocks voting altogether - furthermore, this always trumps yours if used on the same person on the same night, which means you are screwed in a 1v1 with him. You're only hope is to get the jump on him and lynch him before it comes to that. Your Promote/Demote can be used to give someone who has previously been Brainwashed Vote Power.

    Vs Mao
You need to use your Promote/Demote on him to defeat him. However, if he figures out which one he has been hit with he can lynch you or prevent himself from being lynched.

    C.C.
C.C. is a Distracter. She has two PLs - one can be used every 2 nights, the other once every 3 nights. She is also a vote doubler.

    Fake Expose
Even if you don't know who Lelouch is, you can communicate with him using your fake expose. You will know that his is (probably) true, and you can use yours to communicate information to Lelouch, or just to confuse the rest of the players. The advantage is that Lelouch will know yours is fake regardless, and you will know Lelouch's is true - everyone else has to guess which is which.

    Vs Mao
You can't beat him in the vote phase, but you can kill him by targeting him with both Distract and Distract2 during the same Night. Beware of his Daykill, which can eliminate you starting Day 3. He can also Scan to learn someone's vote power, which means he may discover you because of your unique vote.

    Vs Orange
A very easy matchup. Find him before Night 5 and lynch him. If you let him live past Night 5, he can kill you, but you can still Distract him.

    Vs Rolo
You need assistance from one of your allies to defeat Rolo. You cannot defeat him on your own because he counters lynch. Let Ougi or Orange live so that they can take him down.

    Vs Charles
If he brainwashes you, you are rendered powerless. However, if you get to him first, you can use your Distract to block him from silencing you.

    Charles
Charles is a vote negator. He can brainwash people to make them unable to Vote.

    Vs Lelouch
Your Brainwash is slower than Lelouch's Promote/Demote, so yours always takes effect if used on the same person. Try to block Lelouch's movements by silencing everyone he promotes. You can then lynch him once his allies are voteless.

    Vs C.C.
Same thing as Lelouch. Beware that C.C. can PL stall you to keep you from silencing people.

    Vs Suzaku
You need to get rid of Suzaku as soon as possible, as Daykills are the only thing besides a lynch that can defat you.

    Cornelia
Cornelia is a nightkiller who can also Safeguard. Every time she kills, her vote is halved, starting at 4, but the chance to pierce doubles, starting at 25%.
    Safeguard
This blocks everything except Protect and Kill. Use it to save yourself from getting Demoted by Lelouch or Brainwashed by Charles. It will also save you from Distracts.

    Is Schneizel in the game?
If he is, spam your Kill so that he can hax it. You are allies with a common enemy - Lelouch - so you should work together. You can ask Schneizel to Distract you to avoid getting your vote halved if you're worried.

    Vs Lelouch
If Lelouch is in, you should probably Safeguard yourself every night. Getting Demoted will weaken you considerably. You should be able to lynch Lelouch if C.C. isn't in, but if you already killed and your vote is weak, you can use your higher pierce chance kill to eliminate him.

    Vs Kallen
You can't kill her night 1, so don't use it. You will be able to lynch her most of the time. You also have a higher priority kill if she's in Radiant.

    Vs Ougi
Ougi will only throw a bunch of Protects around the first 4 nights, so he's not a huge threat. You have higher priority and a chance to pierce if it comes down to a 1v1.

    Kallen
You can convert between 3 modes. Recon allows you to Scout for enemies+evade nightkills+vote of 1.1. Radiant allows you to kill during the night and counter daykills. Flight allows you to kill during the day with a small chance to reveal. Convert with /Recon, /Radiant, and /Flight.

    Recon
Recon is a good safe mode to stay in while you are figuring things out. /Scout will tell you whether someone is an enemy or an ally, but Suzaku's Recon form will appear as an ally.

    Radiant
In large games, this mode is useful for picking off enemies during the Night.

    Flight
Flight lets you kill during the Day, which is great for getting the jump on threats like Cornelia.

    Vs Suzaku
This is almost a mirror match. Flight beats Recon beats Radiant beats Flight. However, you will always win if both of you are in Radiant, and you will lose if both of you are in Flight.

    Vs Cornelia
You ignore her kills in Recon, but she outvotes you. If you go Radiant, you can kill her, but she has a faster kill which can take you out first. If you go Flight, you can kill her during the day before the Vote Phase.

    Vs Xingke
If you go Radiant, he can't actually do much against you, since he can only Inspect and Daykill.

    Suzaku
You can convert between 3 modes. Recon allows you to Scout for enemies+evade nightkills+vote of 1.1. Radiant allows you to kill during the night and counter daykills. Flight allows you to kill during the day with a small chance to reveal. Convert with /Recon, /Radiant, and /Flight.
    Recon
Recon is a good safe mode to stay in while you are figuring things out. /Scout will tell you whether someone is an enemy or an ally, but Kallen's Recon form will appear as an ally.

    Radiant
In large games, this mode is useful for picking off enemies during the Night.

    Flight
Flight lets you kill during the Day, which is great for getting the jump on threats like Charles.

    Vs Suzaku
This is almost a mirror match. Flight beats Recon beats Radiant beats Flight. However, you will always win if both of you are in Flight, and you will los if both of you are in Radiant.

    Vs Charles
You can daykill him in Flight form to eliminate him. It might even be worth going Flight d1 in small games in case Lelouch reveals Charles for you.

    Vs Toudou
If you go Radiant, he can't actually do much against you, since he can only Inspect and Daykill.

    Xingke
Xingke can Inspect during the Night. He can also kill during the Day once every 2 days starting day 3.

    Vs Toudou
This is a snipefest. Both of you can Inspect and Daykill.

    Vs Schneizel
This is the guy you should use your daykill on. Beware - if you see "You Inspected Schneizel!", then there is a chance that Schneizel used his Silent Distract on you, causing you to be paranoid and see everyone as Schneizel.

    Vs Kallen
Your Inspect will tell you what form Kallen is in. You will see "You Inspected Kallen [Recon]" for instance. If Kallen is in Radiant, do NOT daykill her, as she will counter. You can keep Inspecting her until she changes to Flight or Recon, then use your daykill to eliminate her.

    Toudou
Toudou can Inspect during the Night. He can also kill during the Day once every 2 days starting day 3.

    Vs Xingke
This is a snipefest. Both of you can Inspect and daykill.

    Vs Schneizel
This is the guy you should use your daykill on. Beware - if you see "You Inspected Schneizel!", then there is a chance that Schneizel used his Silent Distract on you, causing you to be paranoid and see everyone as Schneizel.

    Vs Suzaku
Your Inspect will tell you what form Suzaku is in. You will see "You Inspected Suzaku [Recon]" for instance. If Suzaku is in Radiant, do NOT daykill him, as he will counter. You can keep Inspecting him until he changes to Flight or Recon, then use your daykill to eliminate him.

    Schneizel
Schneizel can silently Distract people. This means he can /Distract [name] during the night, and the target won't know they were distracted. He also has 5 votes.

    Vs Xingke
Your Distract will make him think he Inspected Schneizel even if he Inspected someone else! Use this to confuse him and misuse his daykill. You can easily vote him off during the day.

    Vs Toudou
    Same as Xingke.

    Vs Lelouch
Lelouch can absolutely ruin you with his /Demote, which takes away your 5 votes and replaces them with -2. But, you can /Distract him to keep him from doing this - better yet, Lelouch will think his Demote worked, so he might do something reckless and try voting you, only to be voted off by you.

    Ougi
Orange can Poison and Detox (alternating) during the Night. He can also Meet people to reveal his role and inspect them. He also gains a nightkill that ignore distract if lynched.

    Vs Orange
Your kill is slower, so make sure it doesn't come down to a 1v1. Try to get the jump by poisoning him first.

    Vs Cornelia
Her Safeguard blocks poison, so the only way to beat her is to get lynched to gain your kill. However, her kill outspeeds yours.

    Vs Rolo
After night 5, he can kill, so try to poison him before it gets too late in the game. By the way, voting Rolo won't work, so don't try it.

    Orange
Orange can Poison or Detox (alternating) during the Night. He can also Revert people's votes to what they would have been if Lelouch/Charles didn't mess with them. He also gains a nightkill that hits C.C. and Charles starting night 5.

    Vs Ougi
Your kill is faster if you are both lynched. Otherwise, just try to poison him first.

    Vs C.C.
You can kill her if you get lynched, but she can also PL you. This is not an easy matchup, but you can receive assistance from Charles or Rolo to make it possible.

    Vs Rolo
After night 5, he can kill, so try to poison him before it gets too late in the game. By the way, voting Rolo won't work, so don't try it.

    Rolo
Rolo counters lynch and has 5 extra votes added to him if voted for. He can also Distract.

    Kill
You cannot kill until Night 5, but once you get there, you can quickly dispose of your enemies.

    Vs C.C.
You can't kill her, but she can't actually do anything to you either. You have to force her to lynch you in order to win against her.

    Vs Orange / Ougi
Both of these guys can poison you, but it takes a long time to kill you. See if you can trick them into detoxing you. Otherwise, just outlast them until you can get your kill.

    Mao
Mao can Protect himself during the Night, can Scan someone's Vote Power during the Day, and can kill (revealed) during the Day once every 2 Days starting Day 3. He also gets some Hax on Distract and Kill. He also have a voteshield of -2.

    Vs Lelouch
You can find him because he usually has 3 votes from self-Promoting. You can kill him via /Slice during the Day. He will need to use his Geass on you to beat you, so be wary of being Demoted.

    Vs C.C.
She can kill you by targeting you with Distract+Distract2 in the same Night. You can Slice her during the Day.

    Milly
Milly is a miller that appears as a random role if Exposed. If she is lynched, she wins the game, but a random person who voted her will die. Her vote counts as -1.

As Milly, you have to trick people into voting you without raising suspicion that you are a Vote Bomb.

    Vote Power
This theme has a lot of varied votes, so here is a list of all possibilities:

    [5] Schneizel
    [4] Cornelia [After 0 kills]
    [3] Anyone [Promoted by Lelouch]
    [2] Cornelia [After 1 kill]
    [1.1] Suzaku/Kallen in Recon form
[1] Everyone else, and Cornelia [After 2 kills]
    [0.5] Cornelia [After 3 kills]
[No Vote] Anyone [Brainwashed by Charles]
    [0] Milly
    [-2] Anyone [Demoted by Lelouch]

Also remember that C.C. is a vote doubler.

    RO
RO is a relatively slow-paced theme based off the Korean MMORPG Ragnarok Online.
    • Almost every single village power role is given the option to change into two stronger roles. There are a few exceptions to this, such as the Ninja (who can only change to Buffed Ninja), the Archer (who has three options: Hunter, Bard, or Dancer), and the Swordsman (whose two options are not necessarily superior to their original role).
    • The stronger roles that the power roles choose to change into determine the playstyle of the village, and to a lesser extent, the mafia as well.
    • A couple of the mafia roles (Bapho Jr. and Thief Bug) have the same ability as the village power roles in terms of changing into stronger roles.
    • There are a few particularly powerful mafia roles (Valk Randgris, Thanatos, Baphomet) that prevent almost every power role from safely claiming.

    Novice (Rune Midgard)
You are a villager, but you can attempt to change into a power role every night. This only has a 5% chance of working.

Starting on the third night, you can change into a Super Novice. A Super Novice can distract, protect, and inspect, but it can only use each of these commands once.

    Be careful!
There is a chance you are a Poring or Poporing instead. Both of these roles see themselves as a Novice, but reveal as mafia roles when inspected or exposed. (Poring shows as Mistress, while Poporing shows as Valk Randgris.) Additionally, when you change into a Super Novice, your commands will be dummied and will not do anything! The only way to know if your commands are dummied is to try inspecting; if you don't get a result, you have dummy commands. (Make sure the target of your inspect isn't killed in the same night as well.)

    Acolyte (Rune Midgard)
You are a bodyguard. On the second night, you can change to Priest or Monk.
Priest: You can now protect two people every night. These protects will also safeguard against poison and converts.
Monk: In addition to your protect every night, you can now kill one person during the day once a game. This kill will reveal you, and you can't protect yourself, so be careful!

    Priest or Monk?
In games of 12 or more, Priest is preferred (for the sake of protecting other PRs). For games of 11 or fewer, Monk is preferred for the extra firepower.

    Archer (Rune Midgard)
You are a distractor. On the second night, you can change to Hunter, Bard, or Dancer.
Hunter: You can no longer distract, but can kill during the night.
Bard: In addition to your distract, you can now distract a second person every night. This second distract will be broadcasted to everyone, but only has a 50% chance of working.
Dancer: In addition to your distract, you can now distract a second person. This second distract will be broadcasted to everyone, but can only be used every other night.

    Hunter, Bard, or Dancer?
As nice as it may be to have additional village firepower, I personally find the distracts to be more useful. First, unless you are connected to other power roles, you risk killing teammates each night as Hunter. The ability to distract two people can really save your team as you have the potential to block two mafia factions' kills. As for which of the two distractors to choose from, I'd suggest Dancer, as there is no fail chance.

    Pay attention to 'Current Roles'!
Mafia roles can change to their upgraded roles on the first night. If you distract someone on the first night and notice that there is still a regular mafia role in, you may have distracted them! Either try to distract them again the next night to confirm their role or try to lynch them the following day! The same thing applies with village power roles. If you distract someone on the second night and notice a village power role hasn't upgraded, you probably distracted them! If you're willing to take the risk, PM them your role and tell them their role to confirm yours! (Example: Archer here, you're probably Thief because I distracted you so you couldn't change to Assassin or Rogue.)

    Be careful!
Mistress (mafia distractor) can outspeed your regular distract! However, it can't outspeed your second distract that is broadcasted to everyone. Don't forget that Valk Randgris can't be distracted!

    Mage (Rune Midgard)
You are an inspector. On the second night, you can change to Sage or Wizard.
Sage: You can no longer inspect, but you can expose one person's role during the day. You also evade all daykills.
Wizard: In addition to your inspect, you can now kill every other night.

    Sage or Wizard?
It's all a matter of preference, but one class may be favorable over the other depending on the situation. If Ninja is in, they should be able to safely connect, so you can go Wizard and assist the village by killing mafia that you inspect. If there is no Ninja, then Sage might be better to help clean people and connect power roles. Make sure Valk Randgris has been eliminated before claiming as Sage!

    Merchant (Rune Midgard)
You are a mayor with a vote of 2. On the second night, you can change to Alchemist or Blacksmith.
Alchemist: Your vote is now only 1.01, but if you are lynched, you kill the first person that voted you.
Blacksmith: Your vote is now 3.

    Alchemist or Blacksmith?
In games with Thanatos in, going Alchemist will allow you to take them down should they lynch you. In almost any other scenario, Blacksmith is the better option, as extra votes are always helpful.

    Ninja (Rune Midgard)
You can reveal yourself during the day. You also have a 40% chance to evade both nightkills and daykills, but your vote is 0. On the second night, you can change to Buffed Ninja.
Buffed Ninja: Your vote is now 1, but you lose your evasion chance against nightkills and daykills. However, you can kill one person once a game. This kill is the fastest in the game, outspeeding bodyguards and even the Valk Randgris. Additionally, you can't be distracted, but this kill also has a 95% suicide chance. Simply put, if you decide to kill, know that you will be going down as well.

    When do I reveal myself?
If the Baphomet is in, wait for them to daykill first. Afterwards, you are safe to reveal yourself as soon as possible to connect power roles.

When do I change to Buffed Ninja?
For at least the first few nights, you will want to stay as Ninja to repeatedly reveal yourself (in case people forget or missed previous exposes). The evasion chance for both nightkills and daykills is also welcome. Once all the power roles have been connected or the village is starting to dwindle, then you can convert to Buffed Ninja to take out a mafia role.

    Swordsman (Rune Midgard)
You are a nightbomb, meaning you will kill anyone that kills you during the night. On the second night, you can change to Crusader or Knight.
Crusader: You no longer revenge nightkills, but you can daykill every other day without being revealed.
Knight: You no longer revenge nightkills, but you can daykill every day; these kills will reveal you.

As long as the Baphomet (or Bapho Jr. since it can change into the Baphomet) and Golden Thief Bug aren't in, you are safe to claim! If the Priest happens to be alive, they can safeguard you from the Golden Thief Bug's poison.

    Crusader or Knight?
With the exception of Ninja, you are the only role that can claim with relative safety. Because of this, it may be in your best interest NOT to change at all. However, if the Sage is in, it would be better to change to Crusader, as the Sage's expose reveals the user. If the village doesn't seem to have any way of connecting and/or is in desperate need of kills, changing to Knight would be the better option, as you can kill every day. (Be wary of Valk Randgris though!)

    Thief (Rune Midgard)
You are a spy that gets hax on kills and poisons. On the second night, you can change to Assassin or Rogue.
Assassin: In addition to your hax, you can now poison during the night. You have a 50% chance to evade nightkills.
Rogue: You receive much more hax on kills and poisons, and you can now stalk during the night.

    Assassin or Rogue?
Assassin is the better role in just about every situation. Your ability to poison allows you to get past Male Thief Bug (mafia bodyguard) and Female Thief Bug (mafia with chance to evade nightkills), and your chance to evade nightkills improves your survivability. However, if you are searching for any information and/or don't want to risk poisoning allies, Rogue is the better option with its stalk and much higher hax rate.

Every mafia role (except for Thanatos) shares a nightkill with its team.
    Bapho Jr. (Demon Mafia)
You are a basic mafia that can change to Baphomet or Unsealed Baphomet.
Baphomet: You are a mafia daykiller whose kills do not reveal you. You can daykill a second person, but this will reveal you.
Unsealed Baphomet: You can kill a second person every night (unshared), but this has a decent chance of being haxed.

    Baphomet or Unsealed Baphomet?
Baphomet is the superior option in nearly every situation. It has a second kill in the form of a daykill, and this kill can't be haxed or "distracted". If you get revealed or your team has almost full control of the voting phase, you can use your second daykill. Unsealed Baphomet might be favorable in situations where the Sage is in since they evade daykills.

    Threats
Sage is a serious threat, as it can expose freely while evading your daykills. Blacksmith's vote of 3 allows it to singlehandedly outvote your team of 3 (unless at least 2 of your teammates are Dark Lords), and Alchemist can take you down if you are the first one that voted them. In terms of mafia, Thanatos can inspect you and outvote you.

    Dark Illusion (Demon Mafia)
You are a basic mafia that can change to Dark Lord.
Dark Lord: You are a mafia inspector with a vote of 1.1.

Give your inspect results to your teammates, especially Baphomet so they can daykill any threats! Remember that Swordsman will revenge nightkills, so you either have to lynch it or have Baphomet daykill it.

    Hornet (Insect Mafia)
You are a basic mafia that can change to Mistress.
Mistress: You are a mafia distractor. Every other night, you can also demote someone, converting them back into their previous class.

Your distract is UNSHARED. This means you are able to control the night phase with your multiple distracts! Additionally, you can use your demote as an inspect, since you will know what role your target is demoted to!

    Threats
As useful as your demote is for information, it is your unshared distracts that make your team threatening. Bard or Dancer pose a significant threat, as their secondary broadcasted distract is faster than your distract! Valk Randgris also ignores distract.

    Thief Bug (Insect Mafia)
You are a basic mafia that can change to Golden Thief Bug, Male Thief Bug, or Female Thief Bug.
Golden Thief Bug: You are a mafia poisoner that gets medium hax on heal (command exclusive to Priest).
Male Thief Bug: You are a mafia bodyguard.
Female Thief Bug: You can convert yourself every other night to gain 15% nightkill evasion and a -1 voteshield. This caps at 60% nightkill evasion and a -4 voteshield.

Golden Thief Bug, Male Thief Bug, or Female Thief Bug?
Golden Thief Bug offers the most kill pressure thanks to its poison. The hax on Priest, the one role that can block poison, will also help its team. Male Thief Bug offers the most survivability, as it can protect a Mistress that can distract other killers. Female Thief Bug offers the most late-game threat, as this role becomes stronger and harder to eliminate the longer the game has gone.

    Threats
Priest will reduce Golden Thief Bug's kill pressure with its heal, but you can hax this role and easily kill it. Valk Randgris outspeeds bodyguards, so Male Thief Bug can't defend against it. Male Thief Bug's protect doesn't save anyone from daykills, and Female Thief Bug has no chance to evade daykills, making them both susceptible to Baphomet, as well as Monk, Knight, and Crusader. Thanatos can also easily outvote Female Thief Bug despite the voteshield.

    Thanatos (Odin Mafia)
You are a mafia inspector and a kuja, able to lynch anyone with your vote of 99.

    Threats
This can be anyone and everyone that can kill. The most threatening are the daykillers: Baphomet, Crusader, Knight, and Monk. Valk Randgris can outspeed every nightkiller except for the Buffed Ninja. Give him all your inspect information so he can pick off threats every night. Don't vote too early or else you risk being revealed and will easily be eliminated by the numerous killers in the game. Lay low until Valk Randgris has killed your biggest threats, then proceed to take complete control of the voting phase.

    Valkyrie (Odin Mafia)
You are an unblockable mafia that can't be distracted and can change to Valk Randgris.
Valk Randgris: You are an unblockable mafia (can't be distracted) whose kill now outspeeds bodyguards.

    Threats
Ninja can reveal himself to connect the village, but also has a 40% chance to evade nightkills. Buffed Ninja is the only role whose nightkill outspeeds yours. Swordsman will take you down with you if you kill it, and Female Thief Bug gains a higher chance to evade nightkills as the game progresses. While you can 1v1 almost any role at night, you (like almost every other role) are left vulnerable during the day, and can be beaten 1v1 in the voting phase by Alchemist, Blacksmith, Dark Lord, and Female Thief Bug. (Then again, that's what Thanatos is there for.)

    Body
Body is a theme based on parts of the body and different diseases that moves at a moderate pace. Larger games feature a few additional roles that can completely turn the tide of the game.

    • This theme revolves around the Heart, but the game often hinges on Bone Marrow's survivability.
    • The Immune System's protect has a small chance to kill instead of protecting, allowing for a few twists in terms of playstyle.
    • This theme's villagers have the potential to change into power roles.

    Stem Cell (Body)
You are a villager. However, you can attempt to convert yourself into any power role, with each power role having a different chance of success as well as a different chance of suiciding if the convert is successful.

    Ear: 15% success, 20% suicide
    Eye: 10% success, 25% suicide
Immune System: 7% success, 30% suicide
Bone Marrow: 11% success, 25% suicide
    Brain: 8% success, 25% suicide
    Heart: 5% success, 50% suicide
Pineal Gland: 9% success, 25% suicide
    Kidneys: 9% success, 20% suicide
    Liver: 6% success, 30% suicide

There are two kinds of Hearts, Immune Systems, and Brains. If you successfully convert into either of these three power roles, you will have a vote of 2 as Heart, will be able to protect only one person as Immune System, and will only have a vote of 1 as Brain.

Which power role should I try to change into?
It will usually depend on the situation at hand. Sometimes, you may want to change into a power role that has died or that didn't spawn to begin with. Personally, at least early in the game, I'd suggest a role that can find solid information, such as either Brain or Eye.

Why shouldn't I attempt to convert?
There are times where you actually shouldn't try to convert into a power role. The reason is simple: the suicide chance. As useful as it is to be a power role, if you suicide after converting, you've essentially given the mafia a free kill. While this normally doesn't pose much of a problem early game, it can prove to be destructive late game.
Example: There are 4 people left in a game that is currently in the night phase; Heart, Bone Marrow, Stem Cell, Flu. Heart has been revealed, so Flu plans to nightkill it, which would make it a rand vote at 3. However, the Stem Cell attempts to convert and succeeds, but suicides in the process. The game will end at this point with Flu getting the victory since only the Flu and Bone Marrow are left. (Again, it's not a very common scenario, but it can happen, so just be wary.)

    Bone Marrow (Body)
You are a safeguarder and you know the Immune System (bodyguard) from the start. If you die or are lynched, the Immune System will be converted into Leukemia (Werewolf, mafia conspirator)!

    Who do I safeguard?
It sounds like a silly question. 'If I know the Immune System, I obviously should safeguard it!' This is the case, except for if the Heart claims (which it will/should do in just about every game). You will need to protect the Heart from poisons and the Alzheimer's convert. In other cases, there will be other power roles that may actually need the safeguard more than Heart. An example would be Liver, as protection against distracts (whether it be from Alzheimer or Pineal Gland) will aid it as it attempts to kill a threatening mafia role.

    Brain (Body)
You are an inspector and a mayor with a vote of 5. In very small games (5-6 players), your vote is only 1.

If Depression isn't in the game, spam your command! This will allow the Eye to hax you. Since the Eye and Pineal Gland know each other from the start, this will also allow you to connect with the Pineal Gland!

    Ear (Body)
You are a spy that can hax kills and poisons.

    "[Name] is the Body!"
This is the Liver, so PM them as soon as possible!

    "[Name] is the Bacterial/Genetic/Idiopathic/Psychological/Viral Diseases!"
This is a mafia role, so make sure you get this person killed or lynched as soon as possible!

    Eye (Body)
You are an exposer that can reveal a person's role during the day without revealing yourself. You know the Pineal Gland (distractor) from the start, and you can also hax the Brain. If you die, you will power up the Pineal Gland (2 distracts every night instead of 1). Lastly, if you are daykilled, you will reveal your killer. (This is especially useful for finding Rabies.)

    When do I expose?
You, along with the Brain, are one of the few roles that can confirm a role, and you can do so more successfully since your command is during the day (so there is no fearing being distracted). If you want to play it safe, expose only if all the power roles are connected. Also be sure to expose whoever claims Heart the first day to confirm their role and allow them to connect power roles.

I discourage rand exposing as if you reveal a power role, they will most likely be eliminated (or at least converted by Alzheimer) the following night (as Immune System will most likely need to protect the Heart and the Bone Marrow). There's always the madness that ensues if you expose the Immune System, as Alzheimer will be able to distract them and pick off other power roles.

    Heart (Body)
You are a samurai with a 45% chance to reveal yourself when you kill. In smaller games (7-13 players), you have a vote of 1, but in larger games (14+ players), you have a vote of 2.

    Claim and connect!
As the village's powerful daykiller, it is essential that you are kept alive as long as possible. Make sure you claim so that the Immune System can protect you and the Bone Marrow can safeguard you! If the Eye is in, get them to expose you on the first day as well so that power roles can PM you and you can start connecting them.

    The Immune System
They should be protecting you and the Bone Marrow, which they will know from the start. If the Bone Marrow dies, the Immune System will convert into Leukemia! For this reason, you may not want to tell the Immune System the power roles.

    Stay alert!
While it is relatively safe for you to claim, there are a few mafia roles that can pose a serious threat to you. As you connect power roles, make sure you are attentive to what is going on in the game as well.

    Main Threats
Angelman Syndrome (after Prader-Willi Syndrome has either been killed or lynched): Nightkill that outspeeds protect, ignores distract, 40% chance to evade nightkills, vote of 1000; this role is revealed when Prader-Willi Syndrome dies or is lynched. (If you want to stay safe against this role, your best bet is to get Liver to nightkill Prader-Willi Syndrome, then you can safely daykill Angelman Syndrome.)
Prader-Willi Syndrome (after Angelman Syndrome has either been killed or lynched): Daykill, 45% chance to evade nightkills, vote of 1000; this role is revealed when Angelman Syndrome dies or is lynched, so you need to be fast and daykill it before it daykills you!
Schizophrenia: Revealing daykill. They will normally not use this until late in the game, but they can very well kill you day 1 if they really want to.
Rabies: Daykill 3 times a day without being revealed starting Day 4.
Anthrax: Vote of 100. Reveals as Stem Cell when inspected or exposed.

    Immune System (Body)
You are a bodyguard that knows the Bone Marrow (safeguarder) from the start. You can only protect one person in games of 13 or fewer, but you can protect two people in games of 14 or more. There is one catch though; your protect has a 6% chance to kill its target instead (Bone Marrow will evade the kill though)! If Bone Marrow dies, you will convert into Leukemia (Werewolf and mafia conspirator)!

    Who do I protect?
In larger games, protect both the Bone Marrow and the Heart (assuming Heart claims like they should). In smaller games, while it's risky to leave Bone Marrow vulnerable, it's better to protect the Heart. There will be times in smaller games where the Heart may tell you not to protect it; this is so you can protect the Bone Marrow instead, as their death completely turns the tide of the game, and is more destructive to the village in smaller games.

Why don't I know any of the other power roles?
You've PM'd the Heart and even told them who the Bone Marrow was to confirm your role. The Heart has acknowledged this, but they haven't told you any of the other power roles. This is probably a safety precaution in case the Bone Marrow is killed and you are converted to Leukemia. No one on the village would want a mafia conspirator to know all of the power roles. Besides, your two protects should be on the Heart (who you'll know via their claim or reveal on their daykill) and the Bone Marrow, who you know from the start.

Protect the mafia? (Are you trying to get me banned?)
Of course I'm not trying to get you banned. Believe it or not though, there are two rare scenarios where you should actually protect a mafia role. If Liver isn't in the game and the only mafia role left is the upgraded Angelman Syndrome or Prader-Willi Syndrome, you can actually protect that mafia role. Remember, there is a 6% chance that the protect will kill instead. Since there is no other way the village can eliminate that mafia role, this would be the exception where you can protect that mafia role. The other situation is where you are one of the last two people in the game and the other person is a mafia role. Protect them in hopes of the 6% activating to kill them and win the game for the village!

    Kidneys (Body)
You are a detoxer with a vote of 2.

While you can cure people of poison, you won't be able to be cure everyone! Down Syndrome can poison 3 people every night and High Blood Pressure can poison one person every night, but you can only cure one each night! Prioritize your detoxes based on which power roles are the most important for the current situation. You may also want to consider which ones have fewer nights left to live.

    Liver (Body)
You are a vigilante that can also inspect. However, the inspect only has a 50% chance of working. You also have a 50% chance to evade nightkills.

    Knowledge is Power
Sure, you can kill, but there is no need to randomly kill every night (especially the very first night)! You have an inspect, so make sure you use it to find and connect with power roles. If you happen to inspect a mafia role, you can kill that role the next night. Once you have chosen to kill someone, make sure you spam your kill so the Ear can hax it and connect with you. Your chance to evade nightkills grants you increased survivability, allowing you more inspects and more kills!

    "Your target was protected!"
This could be Anthrax or Tetanus selfprotecting, but it could also be Bone Marrow or another power role that was protected by the Immune System! Inspect them if this happens to figure out their role. Don't risk having to playing any guessing games!

    Threats
Anthrax and Tetanus can selfprotect every other night. Anthrax has a vote of 100, while Tetanus has a vote of 1.1, so either of them can lynch you one on one.
Angelman Syndrome, when powered up, can outspeed your nightkill with its own nightkill. Additionally, it has a 40% chance to evade nightkills and a vote of 1000.
Prader-Willi Syndrome, when powered up, can kill during the day, and also has a 45% chance of evading nightkills along with a vote of 1000.
Rabies evades all nightkills, and starting on day 4, can kill 3 times every standby phase.

If Angelman Syndrome or Prader-Willi Syndrome is killed or lynched, their partner will be revealed and power up. You MUST kill that role as soon as possible at all costs!

    Mind Games
This is risky, but if you evade a nightkill from a mafia role, they might PM you thinking you are Rabies! Use it to your advantage! (Really, just get them lynched or get Heart to kill them. You can also kill them yourself.)

    Pineal Gland (Body)
You are a distractor that knows the Eye (exposer) from the start. If the Eye dies, you will be able to distract two people every night.

    "Your target was guarded!"
If you get this message, there are a few possible outcomes. You may have tried to distract the Immune System, who was safeguarded by the Bone Marrow. However, there is also a chance you tried to distract a Flu that was safeguarded by another Flu. If there is no Flu in the game, getting this message means the person you tried to distract was safeguarded by the Bone Marrow. In most cases, it is normally safe to PM this person.

    Be careful!
With the amount of poisons in this theme, there is a decent chance that some deaths that occur will be due to poison. Furthermore, distracting someone and seeing that the number of kills wasn't reduced doesn't necessarily clean them, as they could be Down Syndrome, High Blood Pressure, or Rabies. Remember that if Angelman Syndrome has been powered up, it will also ignore distracts. Lastly, Leukemia will kill you if you distract it!

    Untapped Power
Once the Eye dies, you can distract two people every night. Since the only roles that aren't affected by you are Leukemia, the powered up Angelman Syndrome, and Rabies, you can singlehandedly keep down two entire mafia teams for as long as you want (as long as Alzheimer doesn't PL you, because its PL is still faster than yours). There is no other role in the entire theme that has as much control as you do.

    Anthrax (Bacterial Diseases)
You can kill every night and spore yourself every other night. Spore acts as a selfprotect and self-safeguard. You are revealed as a Stem Cell when inspected or exposed, and your vote is 100.

Your goal is to lay low until very late in the game, where your threats have hopefully been eliminated and you are free to control the voting phase. For this reason, I recommend you properly decide when to and when not to spore wisely.

    Threats
Almost no one can kill you on the nights that you spore. However, there are still a few roles that can stop you cold in your tracks. The Heart, Schizophrenia, Rabies, and Prader-Willi Syndrome when powered up all have the ability to daykill. Angelman Syndrome, when powered up, can outspeed your spore with its nightkill; both of these syndromes also have votes of 1000, so they can lynch you. Pineal Gland and Alzheimer can both distract you, preventing you from sporing and leaving you susceptible to being nightkilled.

    Tetanus (Bacterial Diseases)
You can either kill every night and spore yourself every other night. Spore acts as a selfprotect and self-safeguard. You have a vote of 1.1.

    When do I spore?
In smaller games, sporing the first night is relatively safe. In larger games, you may opt to leave yourself vulnerable the first night. What is important is coordinating your spores between yourself and your teammates so that you are able to protect yourself late game, especially on the night(s) where you are most likely to be targeted.

    Angelman Syndrome (Genetic Diseases)
You are a basic mafia. However, if your teammate (Prader-Willi Syndrome) dies, you will be revealed, but your nightkills will now outspeed bodyguards, you will ignore distractors, gain a 40% chance to evade nightkills, and have your vote increased to 1000!

    Threats
The Heart, Schizophrenia, and Rabies can all daykill, so you are most vulnerable during the standby phase. The Liver can also nightkill, but has a 50% chance to evade nightkills, so your best bet is to lynch this role if it keeps evading your nightkills.

    Sacrifice for Chaos
In just about every game, the Heart will claim the first night and ask for protection. If you want, you can try fakeclaiming as Heart yourself. There is a small chance that some power roles will PM you; if that happens, reveal them to your teammates. If the Heart survives the night, they will most likely daykill you, but that will power up your teammate, allowing them to daykill the Heart and run wild with their vote of 1000.

    Down Syndrome (Genetic Diseases)
You are a mafia poisoner that can poison up to three people every night. The poison takes two nights to kill. You also have a vote of 2.

Your poison is actually high priority in this theme. It outspeeds every kill except for the Angelman Syndrome's kill if it has powered up.

    Coordination
To ensure maximum damage to both the village and opposing mafia factions, let your partners choose a target to nightkill before you choose three targets to poison. Make sure you don't attempt to poison anyone that your teammates are killing, and make sure your teammates don't attempt to kill anyone you're poisoning.

    Prader-Willi Syndrome (Genetic Diseases)
You are a basic mafia. However, if your teammate (Angelman Syndrome) dies, you will be revealed, but you will be able to kill during the day, gain a 45% chance to evade nightkills, and have your vote increased to 1000!

    Threats
The Heart, Schizophrenia, and Rabies can all daykill, but you can snipe at least one of them and lynch another if you survive. The Liver will be able to nightkill you, but you have a decent chance to evade it, and can easily pick it off during the day or lynch it.

    Sacrifice for Chaos
In just about every game, the Heart will claim on the first night, and they have a decent chance of being revealed when they daykill. If they are revealed (or no one else counterclaims them), you can try voting for them. Obviously, this will result in just about every other person countering you (if they follow you instead then just start laughing, seriously). Once you have been lynched, the chaos can begin. With your partner powered up, their nightkill will outspeed bodyguards and they will ignore distractors, so they can easily kill the Heart without anyone stopping them the following night! They will also have complete control over the voting phase with their vote of 1000.

    High Blood Pressure (Idiopathic Diseases)
You are a mafia poisoner and mafia conspirator. Since you win with any mafia faction, make sure you PM any exposed mafia role and tell them who you are so they don't kill you. Of course, be sure not to poison any exposed mafia role either.

    Keep track of your poison!
Your poison will kill the target the next night. Kidneys are able to cure people of poison though. However, if the Kidneys aren't in the game and you poison someone and that target doesn't die the following night, then you have just found the Rabies! PM them and tell them your role as soon as possible!

    "Your target was guarded!"
If you get this message, there is a decent chance that you attempted to poison the Immune System, who would probably be safeguarded by the Bone Marrow. If it's early on in the game, try to poison them again; odds are, the Heart will have claimed and/or been revealed, so the Bone Marrow would have to safeguard them from poisons and converts, leaving the Immune System vulnerable to being poisoned.
However, there is also a chance that your target is Anthrax or Tetanus using spore on themselves, or a Flu using a safeguard on another Flu. If Bone Marrow isn't in the game, PM your target if you get this message and tell them that you're High Blood Pressure!

    Leukemia (Idiopathic Diseases)
You are a werewolf and a mafia conspirator.

Odds are, you were the Immune System, but the Bone Marrow died, causing you to convert. You most likely have power roles, so at this point, you are free to start killing them off one by one! You can also reveal them to everyone and ask the other mafia roles to assist you in killing them. Once you have revealed the power roles, the mafia may start PMing you. There is no need for you to connect them; they are PMing you their role so you don't kill them. (As always, be wary of fakeclaimers! One way to find out if someone is telling the truth when claiming a mafia role is to ask them to reveal their teammates to you in PM.)

    "Your target evaded your kill!"
If you get this message, you have found either the Liver or the Rabies. Obviously, one role will kill you, while the other will work with you to win. To be safe, wait for the Liver to die, then PM your target if you get this message.

    Alzheimer (Psychological Diseases)
You are a mafia distractor. You can also convert one person every other night; this will convert most power roles to a Stem Cell and most mafia roles to an Alzheimer. Your vote is only 0.7 though.

    The Heart of the Problem
To prevent any chance of you crossfiring, you can always attempt to snipe the Heart by aiming at whoever claims Heart while randomly distracting and converting others. If you happen to kill the Heart, then odds are, you probably distracted the Immune System. You should probably kill them the next night. If you're feeling bold, you can keep them in and continue to distract them in hopes of picking off Bone Marrow; this will then allow you to PM the Leukemia and work with them to win.

    "Your target was guarded!"
If you get this message, there is a decent chance that you attempted to convert the Immune System, who would probably be safeguarded by the Bone Marrow. If it's early on in the game, try to convert them again; odds are, the Heart will have claimed and/or been revealed, so the Bone Marrow would have to safeguard them from poisons and converts, leaving the Immune System vulnerable to being converted. Another option would be to just distract the target you tried to convert, and kill the Heart if they claimed or were revealed.
However, there is also a chance that your target is Anthrax or Tetanus using spore on themselves, or a Flu safeguarding another Flu. If this is the case, the only way to convert or kill Anthrax or Tetanus is to distract them as well first. Alternatively, since both spore and Flu's safeguard can only be used every other night, you can simply attempt to convert or kill the same target again the following night.

    "Your target couldn't be converted!"
If you get this message, your target is one of the following five roles: Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidneys, Stem Cell, or Rabies. Rabies will evade your nightkill, but all of the others are all sided with the village, so feel free to kill them!

    Depression (Psychological Diseases)
You are a basic mafia. You also have a very small chance to hax distract (Pineal Gland), protect (Immune System), and know (Brain).

In the event that you hax either of the three roles, change the kill to them and notify your teammates of your hax (so they are aware of why you are making or changing a kill). In case you hax multiple power roles, you can have the Alzheimer distract and/or convert one of them while you kill the other.

    Schizophrenia (Psychological Diseases)
You are a mafia exposer and a mafia daykiller. You can expose someone's real role or fake expose anyone (including yourself) as Tetanus, High Blood Pressure, Rabies, Heart, Brain, Stem Cell, or Bone Marrow without revealing yourself. You can also kill during the standby, but this will reveal you.

    Expose or fake expose?
When it comes down to it, there is almost no reason for you to fake expose someone when you can use your real expose as an inspect to confirm someone's role while the village may be guessing whether the expose was real or not.

    When do I daykill?
Since your daykill reveals you, it's best not to do so until you have 1 day left to live from poison, or you have been exposed by the Eye (as the Heart will most likely daykill you if that happens). If you're feeling bold, you can either daykill the Heart (assuming they claimed or were revealed) or expose someone to find their role, and kill them if it's an important village power role (specifically Liver, Bone Marrow, or Immune System).

    Flu (Viral Diseases)
You are a mafia safeguarder. You can safeguard one of your allied Flus every other night to protect them from distractions, inspectors, and the Alzheimer's converts. While you know the other Flus from the start, you don't know who the Rabies is, so you will have to find them.

    "Your target evaded your kill!"
If you get this message, you have found either the Liver or the Rabies. If you want, you can attempt to kill them again, as the Liver only has a 50% chance to evade nightkills. If the Liver isn't in, then you have found the Rabies and should PM them telling them you're Flu, as this is your teammate!

    Rabies (Viral Diseases)
You have no commands at all, and you don't even know your teammates! You evade all nightkills and can't be poisoned. However, starting on the fourth day...

    The Fun Begins
You are able to kill THREE people every standby phase. You are unable to kill your teammate Flus, so if you attempt to daykill someone and fail, then that person is your teammate, so make sure you PM them! As threatening as you can be, remember that if you daykill the Eye, it will reveal your role!

    Elements
Elements, as the name obviously suggests, is a theme based on the elements of the periodic table.
    • There is a fair amount of hax and information people can receive each night.
    • Each of the major mafia factions has a different specialty, and therefore a different playstyle as well. These playstyles will often affect how the village plays its advantages and prioritizes threats.
    • Reactive elements: Control through Chlorine's distracts and kill pressure through Francium's daykills and the team's extra nightkill (/ionize).
    • Toxic elements: Survivability through Lead's protects and Antimony's safeguards, and late game presence with Mercury's vote of 2. Also note there is no role in the game with any chance to evade or resist poison, and this theme has no detoxer.
    • Radioactive elements: Information through Radium's inspects, and survivability through Uranium's immunity to nightkills and Radium's safeguards.

    Hydrogen (Healthy Elements)
You're a villager with a very small chance to hax inspectors.

    "[Name] is the Healthy Elements!"
If you see this message, this is almost always Carbon! (In larger games, this can be Copper, as Copper can inspect once a game.) PM this person with your hax as soon as possible!

    "[Name] is the Reactive/Toxic/Radioactive Elements!"
If you see this message, this is a mafia role! Since you're a villager and have no special commands, reveal this person to everyone in the chat so the village power roles can deal with that mafia role accordingly. It may be useful to familiarize yourself with what each specific role is in the event that you hax multiple mafia roles in the same night, as one will be a bigger threat than the other.
    Reactive Elements: Fluorine
    Toxic Elements: Arsenic
    Radioactive Elements: Radium

    Carbon (Healthy Elements)
You are an inspector with a vote of 2.

If Radium and Uranium aren't in the game, spam your command! This will allow both Gold and any Hydrogen to hax it and connect with you.

    Copper (Healthy Elements)
You are a jack of all trades with the ability to use each of the following commands at night once a game: kill (/react), distract (/bond), protect, safeguard, and inspect. You also have a vote of -1.

When do I use my commands?
Since you can only use your abilities once a game, I recommend saving them for later in the game. If you want to, you can inspect early in the game in hopes of connecting with someone from the village or finding a mafia role to eliminate. Once you decide to kill, protect, or distract, spam these commands! Gold can hax your kill, Oxygen can hax your protect, and Xenon can hax your distract! If Radium and Uranium aren't in the game, spam your inspect! This will allow both Gold and any Hydrogen to hax it and connect with you.

    Gold (Healthy Elements)
You are a spy that can hax kills, poison, and inspects as well as a mayor with a vote of 3.

    "[Name] is the Healthy Elements!"
This is your teammate, so PM them to connect with them as soon as possible!

    "[Name] is the Reactive/Toxic/Radioactive Elements!"
If you see this message, this is a mafia role! Get this person killed or lynched as soon as possible!

    Iron (Healthy Elements)
You are a bodyguard and a safeguarder. As the only person on the village that can protect teammates from poison (keep in mind the toxic elements are the hardest to eliminate), you are much more valuable than you think.

Who do I protect? Who do I safeguard?
First, spam your protect so that Oxygen haxes it and PMs you! You can then protect and safeguard them until you find additional power roles. After that, it's all about protecting whoever is most suited to handle the current threats in your game.

    Nitrogen (Healthy Elements)
You are a samurai whose kills reveal you.

    When can I claim?
In larger games, as long as Iron is in, you won't be able to claim until Plutonium (mafia daykiller) is eliminated. In smaller games where there is no Iron or Plutonium, you will have to wait until both Lead and Mercury are eliminated before you can safely claim.

    Finding Your Teammates
In most cases, you won't really be able to safely claim for a majority of the game. If you're getting anxious and looking for a kill or two, you'll have to find your teammates. 'How in the world do I find people on my team when I have no reliable way of gathering information?' Pay attention to any hax that people report during the game. As long as Radium and Uranium aren't in, someone that reports hax on someone being inspected is most likely Hydrogen, so feel free to PM them. 'Why would I waste my time PMing a villager?' There's a chance that Carbon inspected them or they haxed Carbon and could be connected to other power roles. If someone reports hax on protect, distract, kill, or poison, that person is one of your teammates (seeing as the only hax mafia has in this game is Radium and Uranium's small hax on inspect).

    Oxygen (Healthy Elements)
    You are a distractor.

Make sure to spam your command so that Xenon (bodyguard) will hax it and connect with you! Everyone knows how strong of a duo a bodyguard and a distractor can be.

    Be careful!
Neptunium and Chlorine's distracts outspeed yours! Fluorine, Arsenic, Neptunium, and Plutonium all ignore distractors, and Uranium kills them instead. Furthermore, the toxic elements poison, not kill, so distracting them will not reduce the number of kills in a night. (This means distracting someone and seeing there is no reduction in kills during a night does not clean that person.)

    Phosphorous (Healthy Elements)
    You are a vigilante.

    When do I kill?
If anything, kill only when necessary later in the game. Unless a mafia role is haxed, you have almost no reason at all to be randomly killing so early in the game, especially on the first night. Wait for any hax, Nitrogen's daykill, or Carbon to inspect you. You'll be able to use those opportunities to connect with power roles. Then you may begin killing, as you'll have a much greater chance to hit a mafia role. Once you have chosen to kill someone, make sure you spam your command so that Gold will hax it and connect with you. Keep in mind Gold can hax multiple commands, which means connecting with Gold may also allow you to connect with other power roles!

    "Your target was protected!"
This could be Mercury (or Arsenic or Antimony) being protected by Lead. However, it could also be Oxygen being protected by Xenon, or someone being randomly protected by Xenon or Iron. However, if Xenon and Iron (and maybe Copper as well) aren't in the game, then the person you tried to kill is most likely a toxic element being protected by Lead.

    "Your target evaded your kill!"
This is either Uranium or Plutonium. Since neither of these mafia roles can be nightkilled, you will need to find a way to get them either daykilled or lynched without making yourself or your role obvious.

    Xenon (Healthy Elements)
You are a bodyguard. In large games (25+ players), you can protect two people instead of one, and you can't be distracted!

Make sure to spam your command so that Oxygen (distractor) will hax it and connect with you! Everyone knows how strong of a duo a bodyguard and a distractor can be.

    Who do I protect?
On the first night, protect Oxygen (you should be spamming your command so they can hax it anyways). If Nitrogen chooses to daykill, this is where it gets interesting. While you can protect them from kills, it doesn't protect them from poison, leaving them vulnerable to Lead and Mercury. If Carbon finds you, they are probably the person you will want to protect the most, as they can easily find someone's role with their inspect, and their vote of 2 might save a teammate in close votes.

    Radium (Radioactive Elements)
You are a mafia inspector that can inspect two people every night and a mafia safeguarder. Your vote is -2. You also have a very small chance to hax inspectors.

There's not much to say here. Safeguard your teammate Uranium to protect them from poison (and inspectors) and give them your inspect information to let them pick off threats. Lastly, use your vote of -2 to save them if needed in a close voting phase.

    Uranium (Radioactive Elements)
You're a werewolf with the additional ability to evade all nightkills. Coupled with Radium's safeguard against poison and inspectors, you will be tough to eliminate. You also have a very small chance to hax inspectors.

    Threats
Nitrogen and Plutonium both have the ability to daykill. With almost any role in most themes, you are always vulnerable during the voting phase (though Radium can save you with its -2 vote). If Radium is eliminated, the game becomes significantly more difficult, as you are now vulnerable to poison from any of the toxic elements (and Neptunium) and prone to being inspected, whether it be by Carbon, Fluorine, Arsenic, or Plutonium.

    Chlorine (Reactive Elements)
You are a mafia distractor. You share a one-time only additional kill with your team (/ionize).

    When do I ionize?
LATE GAME. Using this command early in the game significantly reduces your team's kill pressure. Consider this your ace in the hole to get your team out of a pinch. Note that Uranium and Plutonium will still evade this kill.

    Fluorine (Reactive Elements)
You are an unblockable mafia inspector. You share a one-time only additional kill with your team (/ionize).

You are your team's only source of reliable info, and you can't be distracted. While you want to be aware of what is going on in terms of hax and other information your team manages to gather, DO NOT FORGET TO INSPECT every night!

    When do I ionize?
LATE GAME. Using this command early in the game significantly reduces your team's kill pressure. Consider this your ace in the hole to get your team out of a pinch. Note that Uranium and Plutonium will still evade this kill.

    Francium (Reactive Elements)
You are a mafia daykiller, but your kills will reveal you!

    When do I daykill?
It all depends on the situation. Obviously, don't recklessly daykill randomly on the first day; you'll be daykilled by Nitrogen or lynched immediately after, which will weaken your team considerably. If you're feeling bold and Fluorine happens to find Nitrogen, feel free to kill it if you want (even though you're better off just killing it the following night). If you want to take a safer route, don't daykill until you're poisoned or your team has the numbers to control the voting phase.

    Sodium (Reactive Elements)
You are a basic mafia with a vote of -1. Since you're the least valuable member on your team, you should be the one making the kills to protect your teammates from being haxed.

    Antimony (Toxic Elements)
You are a mafia safeguarder that can safeguard two of your three teammates every night.

Which one of my teammates gets the short end of the stick?
In the beginning to the middle phase of the game, I'd leave Mercury vulnerable and safeguard Arsenic and Lead. Arsenic is your team's inspector and can't be distracted, while Lead is your team's bodyguard. In the very later stages of the game, you can choose to safeguard Mercury over Arsenic if you feel Mercury's vote of 2 will come in handy.

    Safeguarding Opponents?
If you find yourself as the only member of your team alive or have only one teammate alive, you can attempt to play some mind games by randomly safeguarding other people (provided you or your teammate isn't planning to poison that person on the same night). You might be able to throw off other inspectors (Carbon, Fluorine, Radium, Plutonium) as they may assume their target is either Uranium (ally of Radium, a mafia safeguarder) or any of the toxic elements (besides Antimony of course) upon receiving the message that their target was guarded. Be wary that this strategy is much less effective if Iron or Copper are in, as they can also safeguard (even though Copper can only safeguard once a game).

    Arsenic (Toxic Elements)
You are an unblockable mafia inspector.

You are your team's only source of reliable info, and you can't be distracted. While you want to be aware of what is going on in terms of hax and other information your team manages to gather, DO NOT FORGET TO INSPECT every night!

    Lead (Toxic Elements)
You are a mafia bodyguard that can protect two of your three teammates every night.

Which one of my teammates gets the short end of the stick?
Leave Mercury vulnerable and protect Antimony and Arsenic. Antimony is your team's safeguarder which will protect your team from being distracted, while Arsenic is your team's inspector that can't be distracted. Very late in the game, you can choose to protect Mercury over Arsenic if you feel Mercury's vote of 2 will come in handy.

    Mercury (Toxic Elements)
You are a mafia mayor with a vote of 2.

Despite your additional voting power, you are probably the weakest member of your team. As such, you should be the one poisoning others to protect your teammates from being haxed.

    Plutonium (Plutonium)
You are a mafia inspector and mafia daykiller whose kills do not reveal. You can't nightkill, but you also can't be nightkilled. You also can't be haxed or distracted.

    Kuiper Belt Mechanics
Inspect. Daykill. Win. Simple enough, but as always, there are threats that easily end your rampage. Nitrogen and Francium are daykillers, but their kills reveal them, so you can simply kill them if they reveal themselves. Phosphorous, while it can't kill you, can reveal you once you've evaded its kill or can relay information to Gold (assuming it spammed its kill like it's supposed to). Every single toxic element (Antimony, Arsenic, Lead, Mercury) is a threat, as you evade only kills, not poisons. Furthermore, since you are alone, you have no teammate or ability to safeguard yourself. For this reason, you will want to eliminate the toxic elements as quickly as possible. Obviously if you and maybe one or two mafia roles are the only villains remaining, and the village still has almost all of its power roles, you will want to keep the opposing mafia roles alive long enough to wear down the village.

Lastly, you are a mafia daykiller, not a samurai. Just because you inspect a mafia role doesn't mean you have to play the hero and immediately daykill them. Remember your threats, assess the situation, and use your daykills wisely and to your advantage.

    Neptunium (Neptunium)
Talk about unique roles. You're a conspirator, but you're far from a sitting duck. You can poison as many people as you want every night without being haxed; this poison takes 7 nights to kill. You can also distract one person every night and can't be distracted.

Since I win with everyone, do I claim?
NOPE. Even as a conspirator, claiming does nothing but get you killed (Derpy Hooves, Sidoh, Historian).

    What do I even do?
You have to find a way to survive for the entire game. The 7-night poison puts a timer on that (assuming you can actually poison everyone the very first night), and your distract is your only form of protection, as it can block a role (and/or its teammates) from killing or poisoning you. Good luck!

    Oracle
Oracle is a non-peak setup featuring Oracles and Genies against a team of basic mafia.
    • The village relies on the Oracles' reveals and the Genies' wishes to win.
    • However, the mafia can also use the Genies' wishes. A Genie also has a chance to be a Geeny whose wish is merely a dummy command.
    • Bussing is very common in this theme as well.

    Oracle (Village)
You can /see one person every night. If you are killed or lynched, you will reveal the role of the last person you used your /see on. WARNING: Geeny reveals as General.

"You have been granted a /wish!"
This means a Genie has given you a daykill! You can save this kill for a later day but it's usually better to use it the same day you receive it. Saving the kill will make you appear scummy to the Genie that granted you. If you want, you can attempt to get the Genie to PM you so you don't end up using your wish on them. Of course, they won't always PM, especially since you probably haven't been cleaned by another Oracle's reveal. If you happen to daykill a mafia role, the Genie that granted you will most likely PM you and continue to grant you wishes. The daykill has a 40% chance to reveal you; this can be good or bad depending on who you kill.

"*** With their dying breath, the Oracle whispers: '[Your name here] is the Oracle!'"
Now that you have been cleaned, all the Genies should PM you and at least one of them should be granting you. If you are killed the following night, you will be able to reveal someone (and since the Genies should have PM'd you, they will be safe from being revealed or nightkilled for that night). If you aren't killed, you will be able to daykill someone (assuming one of the Genies granted you); since you should know who the Genies are (again, assuming they PM'd you), you have a greater chance of daykilling a mafia role!

    One more tip
Just because you reveal someone upon death doesn't mean you can selfvote and start a rand on yourself during the voting phase. That also means don't teamvote a revealed Oracle (or Genie) so you can be countered and lynched.

    Voting
If an Oracle or Genie has been revealed, let them start the rand, as they are the only cleaned person. If you want to suggest a lynch, feel free to do so (whether it be in the main chat or in a PM to the cleaned person), but don't vote until the cleaned person votes. This will reduce the chance that the village splits votes and ends up mislynching. Even if you don't agree with their rand, it's best not to try to vote someone else, as you might draw suspicion to yourself and risk the village not lynching their desired target.

    Genie (Village)
You can grant a wish to one person every night. This will give them a daykill that they can use whenever they want.

Despite not knowing any of your teammates at the beginning of the game, you are probably safe to randomly grant someone the very first night. Once the village starts to lose its numbers, you will definitely want to consider who you will grant (if you even choose to grant at that point). To play it safe, grant and PM any Oracle or Genie that gets revealed. If you grant someone and they don't kill that same day, there is a decent chance they are mafia trying to save the kill for later. However, there is also a chance that you could be a Geeny.

    Geeny
While you see yourself as a Genie, your grant is only a dummy command, meaning your target won't actually have a daykill. Furthermore, you reveal as General and your vote is -1. If you get revealed as General, the best way to save yourself is to claim Geeny and selfvote. Provided no one else votes, your selfvote will clean you and other Genies should PM you and grant you; odds are, you'll probably end up being killed the following night, but in case you aren't, you'll hopefully have a wish you can use! If you happen to survive, remember that you can't lead a rand, as your vote is -1. You can suggest a rand, and use your vote to save someone if the vote happens to be close.

    Soldier (Army)
    You are a basic mafia.

Once an Oracle or Genie is revealed, you will need to kill them as soon as possible. Make sure this is only done with your nightkill, because if you are granted a wish and daykill a cleaned person, the Genie will reveal that they granted you and you will immediately be lynched. You can also try to save the wish for a later day so that your team has an additional kill; with a "no vote at 4" or "no vote at 6", you will win the game assuming no one else receives a wish the following night. For this reason, you will also be suspected and possibly lynched if you are granted a wish and don't use it on the same day, so be careful!

    Bussing
If one of your teammates gets revealed, they WILL be lynched in the upcoming voting phase. Ask that teammate if you can bus them in hopes of reducing any chance of being suspicious. If your teammate allows it, then vote that person early on using /teamvote. Sometimes people will suspect the first and maybe second voter to be a potential busser, so you may want to wait until one or two people have voted before you vote. This is especially effective if you end up hammering (which means that your vote guarantees that they will be lynched) them or being the vote before they are hammered. As always, if you vote for the exposed person too late, you will be suspected and most likely be the target of at least one Oracle's /see.

    Next Level Bussing
If you are granted a wish and are feeling bold and want to be a playmaker, ask one of your teammates if you can bus them by daykilling them to "clean" yourself. If they permit it and you daykill them, the Genie that granted you will most likely PM you and continue to grant you; if you get revealed when you make the daykill, that's even better, as any other Genie will probably PM you as well, and the Oracles probably won't use their /see on you for the rest of the game. If you aren't revealed, you will want to proceed to aim for all the Genies that didn't PM you, as they may end up granting other people. Since you will be killing Genies instead of Oracles, you don't have to worry about being revealed or have to deal with someone else getting cleaned. The following link is an example of where this strategy worked. Take note that my teammate was revealed, so I almost didn't have a choice, as if I didn't daykill them, there would be a pretty good chance that the Genie would reveal that I had a wish and didn't use it on the revealed mafia, which would then cause me to be lynched.

    General (Army)
You are a basic mafia. Note that once you have chosen to kill someone, the kill can't be changed by you or your teammates!

As always, if you vote for the exposed person too late, you will be suspected and most likely be the target of at least one Oracle's /see.

    Bluffing
If you are revealed, you can fakeclaim Geeny and selfvote. If you do this, you'll be lynched since you have a vote of 1 and not -1. The idea here is to get your teammates to vote you (doesn't matter if they vote you before or after you selfvote) in an attempt to "clean" themselves. On rare occasions, if someone selfvotes to try to prove they are Geeny and someone else votes that same person anyways, they are almost always lynched instead. If this happens to your teammate, the village may see you as clean. This is obviously very risky, but can pay off and normally win you the game if executed perfectly.

    Next Level Bussing
If you are granted a wish and are feeling bold and want to be a playmaker, ask one of your teammates if you can bus them by daykilling them to "clean" yourself. Vengeful
Vengeful is a non-peak setup featuring basic villagers against a team of basic mafia with a couple of twists.
    • The mafia in this theme are unable to kill.
    • If a villager is lynched, they are able to kill one person before dying.
    • The village wins if they successfully kill all of the mafia or if they lynch the Godfather.

    Villager (Village)
You're a villager with no special commands. However, if you are lynched, you are able to kill one person before you die.

    Voting
Since the village has no way of gathering information via commands, the best way to find the mafia is to use your voice and your vote. The standby phase is 45 seconds long for a reason; use that time to discuss who you think may be mafia or who you are considering voting for (or killing if you end up being lynched instead). Remember that even if you are unsure or don't have any ideas, you are not helping the village by staying silent. If anything, you're drawing suspicion to yourself, and while you may not mind being lynched since you'll be able to kill, the idea is to lynch the mafia. Once a rand is started, it's usually in your best interest to follow it, as countering a rand is very scummy because it makes you look like a Goon trying to save the Godfather (remember the mafia automatically lose if the Godfather is lynched). If you choose not to follow the rand, try to give a good reason for it if you can. Again, it's all about communication and discussion. Lastly, pay attention to who is voting who; there are often times where the mafia may not vote at the same time, but will try to vote the same target. This doesn't necessarily mean people that vote together are mafia though, as they could easily be two villagers.

    Killing
Now that you have been lynched, you can kill before dying. There will be times where you will need to kill (ie the village outnumbers the mafia by only one person) and there will be times where you shouldn't kill (ie the village outnumbers the mafia by two people) because killing a teammate would result in the game ending with the mafia winning. Whether you choose to kill or not (if you have that option), pay attention to who is suggesting kills and who they are suggesting you kill. You may also want to suggest possible mafia suspects as well before dying.

    Goon (Mafia)
You're a mafia that can't kill. Your only weapons are your vote and your voice, so make them count!

    Voting
In most instances, a villager is going to start a rand. Your best bet is to follow it provided it's not one of your teammates (obviously). However, following almost every rand without giving any reason is enough reason for people to suspect you're mafia, so make sure you are actively contributing to the chat. When the game starts, make sure you have permission from your fellow Goons to bus them at any time. In the event that another Goon is being randed, it's actually better for you to follow it to help you look clean in the eyes of the village. The only reason you shouldn't follow a rand (and start one of your own) is if the Godfather is being voted for (since your team automatically loses if they are lynched). If no one has started a vote, you can always try to start one yourself since countering votes are generally seen as suspicious in this theme. Lastly, if the vote ever appears to be split, make sure that your teammates have the votes split up between the two people being voted for. This will make it much more difficult for the village to group you together, single each of you out, and eliminate you.

    Killing
Since neither you nor your teammates are ever able to kill, I'm referring to when a villager is lynched and gains the ability to kill. You can try to sway their decision by suggesting a kill or two; in some instances, if people were looking to lynch the Godfather, it would be to your benefit to suggest that the vengeful villager actually kill them. If they do, you could be seen as clean, not to mention the village can no longer lynch the Godfather and end the game. In situations where it seems like you're going to lose one of your teammates, it's better to lynch a fellow Goon and have the Godfather be killed.

    Godfather (Mafia)
You're a mafia that can't kill. Your only weapons are your vote and your voice, so make them count! Additionally, if you are lynched, your team automatically loses!

If no one has started a vote, you can always try to start one yourself since countering votes are generally seen as suspicious in this theme. If someone starts to counter your vote, you can accuse them of being a Goon trying to save their teammate Godfather, with the 'Godfather' being the person you voted. Lastly, if the vote ever appears to be split, make sure that your teammates have the votes split up between the two people being voted for. This will make it much more difficult for the village to group you together, single each of you out, and eliminate you.

You can try to sway their decision by suggesting a kill or two; in some instances, if people were looking to lynch you, it would be to your benefit to get one or more of your teammates to suggest that the vengeful villager actually kill you. If they do, your teammates could be seen as clean, not to mention the village can no longer lynch you and end the game. In situations where it seems like you're going to lose one of your teammates, it's better to lynch a fellow Goon and have yourself be killed.

    Ghosts
Ghosts is a non-peak setup featuring the village against a team of mostly basic mafia with one unique mechanic that makes this theme stand out.
    • If a person is killed during the night or lynched, they become a ghost instead of being removed from the game.
    • Ghosts are unable to vote or use their commands, but are still able to participate in the chat. They also have a -1000 voteshield.
    • Keep watch of who and how many players are alive using /myrole. This may help the village decide when it is or isn't time to vote.

    Villager (Good People)
You have no special commands, but you have a vote and you will always have a voice! As long as you're paying attention to what is going on, you can always be useful.

How do I know who is cleaned?
If you see the message "[Name] was shot and died!", then that person is cleaned. If you are shot and killed during the night, you will be cleaned! Get power roles to PM you if this happens! Remember that as a ghost, you can't vote, so you will need to suggest a lynch in the chat and make sure people vote that person.

How do I find the mafia?
If you have been cleaned and every power role has PM'd you (or this has happened to someone else), a vote will probably be suggested. As long someone that has been cleaned has suggested the vote, you should most likely listen to their suggestion and vote that person. Once that person is lynched, they will become a ghost.
At the end of every night, this message will appear: "A suspicious person was seen wandering around during the night!" for every mafia there are in the game. This is only important if more than one mafia spawned at the beginning of the game, as this message will appear two or three times if that is the case.
After lynching a person, check to see if the number of times the suspicious person message appears. If it appears one less time than the previous night, then you lynched a mafia! If not, then you lynched one of your teammates; see if the Priest can revive them. BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE IF THE FRAMER IS IN THE GAME!

    Bodyguard (Good People)
You can protect one person during the night. If the person you protected is shot at, you will die instead.

    Who do I protect?
Always protect the Priest, as their revives help keep the village numbers up. Once the Priest has been killed or lynched or they have used up their two revives, protect the Mortician! Once both of those roles are dead, the decision on who to protect is up to you; remember to prioritize power roles over villagers.

    Careful!
If you attempt to protect someone and you are killed during the night, you will not know whether your protected target was shot at or if the mafia simply aimed at you to begin with. This means that if you protect someone and you are killed, you have NOT cleaned the person you protected.

    Connecting with your Teammates
If you see the message "[Name] was shot and died!", then that person is cleaned. PM them and tell them your role as soon as possible! If you are shot and killed during the night, you will be cleaned! Get the other power roles to PM you if this happens! Remember that as a ghost, you can't vote, so you will need to suggest a lynch in the chat and make sure people vote that person.

    Bulletproof (Good People)
You are able to survive one nightkill.

When you survive a nightkill, you will be told about it. The mafia will also know who you are, and a message will appear to the public saying that the Bulletproof was shot but survived. Once this happens, claim your role in the chat and get the other power roles to connect you! (Beware of anyone trying to counterclaim you.)

    Mortician (Good People)
You can inspect one dead person every two nights.

Please make sure you don't waste this on a living person, as you will have to wait another two nights before you can inspect again. Remember that people who are shot and killed during the night are clean, so there is no need for you to inspect them. You can if you want to confirm your role to them though. Furthermore, your inspect has the lowest priority in the game, meaning you can be killed and won't get your result of whoever you tried to inspect that night. It also means that if your target is revived by the Priest on that same night, you won't be able to figure out their role because the person is no longer dead. Consider all of this when coordinating actions with your fellow teammates.

What's the point if they're already dead?
Even if you happen to be connected with the other power roles, this is useful because you can inspect someone you lynched to find out whether or not they are mafia. In a way, you are a counter to the Framer, the one mafia role that can mess up one of the village's ways of cleaning people. Additionally, this helps you out even more if you aren't connected to the power roles or cleaned, as you can be the one connecting each time you find a teammate.

    Neighbour (Good People)
You can reveal yourself to one person during night once a game.

You don't know who is who, but using this may allow you to connect with a possible power role! At the very least, this person should never vote for you; if they do, then they are mafia.

    Priest (Good People)
You can revive one person during the night two times a game.

    [email protected]@6
Since your revive actually outspeeds the mafia's kill, no vote at 4 and no vote at 6 doesn't necessarily have to apply as long as you can still revive someone.

    When do I revive someone?
Usually, most games will be over the day after you use your second revive. However, this isn't always the case, and when this happens, you will need to time your revives wisely. When the first person has been killed by the mafia at night, connect with them. If they are a power role, revive them the next night! If they are only a villager, you may want to wait another night for someone else to be killed. In larger games, it is better to revive once and then save your other revive for when another power role dies.

    Mafia (Mafia)
You are able to kill one person every night.

The village has power roles, but you have no special abilities. You will often find yourself or your teammates getting lynched rather quickly. Your best bet is to contribute to the chat in any way (as some people often see silence as scummy) and force a mislynch or two. There are a few other things you can try doing to throw the village off and secure a win for your team. As always, be wary that they won't always work!

Beating the Bodyguard: Due to the way this role works, it will be tough for you to work around it. However, if your kill is shielded by them (starting on the second night or later), then your original target is probably a power role. Make sure to take them out the following night!
Beating the Bulletproof: Once this role has survived your first kill, there will be a public message telling everyone the bulletproof was shot and survived. If they don't claim when this happens, you can try to fakeclaim Bulletproof and get the real one lynched. This is more effective the earlier the game is. This is also a good time to get your teammates to bus you if it doesn't look like people are believing your claim.
Beating the Mortician: This role can only inspect dead people, especially people who are lynched. The best way to beat this role (outside of killing it) is to overwhelm it, or try to force a lynch every night. Remember that leading a lynch that hasn't been suggested by someone you killed during the night is very risky and could be instantly countered.
Beating the Neighbour: Probably not a role you will want to counterclaim, as the one person they choose to message will always be able to confirm them. If you wanted to be bold and counterclaim, you could have one of your teammates be the person that you "messaged". Super risky, but if you are able to force a mislynch from this, it could be enough for your team to win.
Beating the Priest: Most times, the Priest will use its first revive on the first person that is killed during the night. Revive outspeeds your kill, which means you can aim your next kill at the same person you killed the previous night, causing the Priest to waste one of their two revives!

    Framer (Mafia)
You are able to kill one person every night. Once a game, you can also change the number of suspicious people seen during a night attack.

While you may only be able to use this special ability once, do NOT underestimate the power of this command. This allows you to 'clean' a fellow teammate if they have been lynched or frame someone from the village if they have been lynched.

    When do I use this?
It's normally better to frame someone the night before lylo (lynch or lose) as this normally gives your team the best chance of winning. The frame itself is usually enough to cause the village to mislynch if people aren't alert enough.

    Mortician
This role can inspect one dead person every two nights, so it is sort of a counter to you as it ruins your framing capabilities should the Mortician choose to inspect the person you framed or the teammate you attempted to clean.

Fire Emblem is a theme based around the various heroes and villains of the eponymous universe.

There aren’t very complicated mechanics in the theme. The main dynamics are Nergal’s /morph command, which can convert most roles into a Nameless Morph that is on Nergal’s side, effectively making it unsafe for power roles to claim; and the Disgruntled Soldier, who morphs into a Berserk Soldier upon lynch which possesses a kill whose priority outspeeds bodyguards, again making it a role which can threaten the most important village power roles. Less common threats include Ashnard, a lone role which can daykill without being revealed, the Demon King, whose immense vote spells imminent doom for whomever he votes (usually), and the Black Knight, a role who has no night actions and can’t be nightkilled, but on Night 4 gains access to an immense amount of nightkills.

    Soldier:
    You are a Villager.

You vote during the day. It is possible that one who sees themselves as a soldier is actually a Trainee, who reveals as a random mafia side upon inspect or expose.

    Roy:
    You are an Exposer.

You can expose one person during the day to reveal their side, but this will reveal you. Roy is generally the Power Role used to connect the village, but he is not safe while Nergal is alive and able to morph. Unless the role Micaiah is in, who can safeguard Roy from converts, he should wait for Nergal to be removed from the game, as a morphed Roy with access to power roles can feed the information to Nergal when he is morphed. You evade daykills so Ashnard cannot threaten you with his daykill.

    Hector:
    You are a Bodyguard.

You should protect any power role that claims or is revealed. Generally the most important are Roy and Lyndis, but it comes down to the individual’s judgment when choosing a protect target. A bodyguard should do their best to not draw attention to themselves as they are a high priority target for the mafia to kill.

    Lyndis:
    You are a Vigilante.

You can kill one person during the night and what is most distinct about your role is that you have a higher priority than the mafia factions, allowing you to beat them in an endgame scenario one on one. However, it’s in your best interests to wait until you are connected to the other power roles to begin killing at random, as you may kill another member of the village when you have no information.

    Eliwood:
    You are a Mayor.

You have 3 votes, which allows you to vote out a mafia member in the event that it comes down to the voting phase and it is you against one other mafia member. As such, a Village Can’t Lose Role should do their best to try not to get killed and leave the leading of the village to a more public role like Roy.

    Sophia:
    You are a Roleblocker.

You can distract one person during the night and you are immune to Nergal’s morphs. In games where Ashnard is not present, you should be the role to claim as Roy can be morphed and the only misfortune that can befall you is a poison, which does not prevent you from connecting all the village power roles.

    Soren
    You are an Inspector.

You can inspect one person during the night to find out what Side they belong to. The Heroes are the village, the Dread Isle is Nergal and his morphs, the Kingdom of Bern is Zephiel and his subjects, the Kingdom of Daein is King Ashnard, and the Kingdom of Begnion is the Disgruntled Soldiers (as well as the Black Knight should be appear). Any other lone role will probably stand out by the name of the kingdom of the game from which they came; use /sides for more info. It’s important that you pass your information along to people whom you have inspected to be town without publicly revealing yourself in the chat.

    Ike:
    You are a Samurai.

You can kill one person during the day without being revealed, but this does not mean you should abuse this power. Generally you should carry out the will of Roy’s expose or Soren’s inspect, and if you have no better information, sometimes it’s better to hold in your daykill.

    Nergal
You are a Mafia Cult Leader.

Depending on the size of the game, you can convert two or three people per game with /morph. This turns your target into a Nameless Morph that has 0 votes and a -3 voteshield who can /shield you in an attempt to protect you from any harmful actions going your way. You can also kill during the night. It’s in your best interest to watch the chat for any village role claims, especially Roy, the highest priority morph, so you can turn the village’s numbers against them. Note that you cannot morph Sophia.

    Limstella
    You are a Mafia Roleblocker.

You can /bind one person to distract them. When combined with Ephidel’s inspection powers, you can lock down a village role or the other mafia side in order to further your own team’s chance at success. Your priority overrides any other village command besides Sophia’s distract so you can lock down Soren or Hector, making them useless so you don’t have to kill them right away necessarily.

    Ephidel
You are a Mafia Alignment Cop.

You can inspect one person to find their side. When combined with Limstella’s distracting powers you can lock down village power roles or the other mafia side. You can also kill one person during the night if need be.

    Zephiel
You are a Mafia Boss Alignment Cop.

You can inspect one person to find their side. You have a vote of 2 and are resistant to morphs and poison, which allows you to win a 1v1 against Nergal in the late game. Other than that, thanks to your bodyguard Murdock, you should be able to safely survive the night and only have to worry about day actions or inspects finding you out. You can also kill one person during the night

    Murdock
    You are a Mafia Bodyguard.

In addition to your nightkill, you can protect one person during the night, which should be Zephiel. Not much to say besides keep your king alive.

    Idoun
    You are a Mafia Poisoner.

You can poison one person during the night and kill one person during the night. The poison can’t be safeguarded unless Micaiah is in the game, so you should feel free to target village roles that claim like Roy and Sophia to ensure that they leave the game by night 2 if they claim. Keep your eyes out for any other possible targets as well.

    Ashnard
    You are a Mafia Godfather.

You can kill during both phases and have 3 votes, which makes you very resilient and an everpresent threat. However, you will lose the nightkill priority to any other mafia, so take that into account when voting in the late game. Your goal is mainly to strike down Sophia if she claims because she’s the one village connecting role that you can kill – Roy is out of your reach. You are immune to morphs although you will lose to Nergal 1v1, so keep note of this. It may be advantageous for you to take out the other mafia because your 3 votes will give you an advantage against the village, allowing you to beat up to three villagers who do not have a win condition like Eliwood or Lyn.

    Demon King
You are a Mafia Poisoner and Vote Controller.

You begin the game as Lyon, but convert into Demon King, gaining access to your high amount of votes starting day 1 and your two poisons starting night 2. Your win condition is to eliminate all other killers, as your votes will allow you to singlehandedly win the game provided Eirika isn’t in the game (which is a rare sight, she spawns late). Most of the time, your kill list will be Ike, Lyndis, Nergal, Limstella, Ephidel, Zephiel, Murdock, and Idoun. Be especially careful with Zephiel, Limstella, and Ephidel, as they are immune to poison.

During voting phases, try not to create any votes that would betray your identity to the village. Try to follow the bandwagon to mask your vote, but if you find yourself being the target of a lynch, instead of trying to hit Roy/Sophia or whoever the lead village power role is, try to go for the roles that can actually eliminate you.

    tl;dr
IS NERGAL IN? If yes, Roy does not claim. If no, Roy can claim.
IS ASHNARD IN? If yes, no one can claim. If no, Sophia can claim.
Any PR that reveals itself is in danger of being morphed and their secrets betrayed.

What do you do if no one can claim? Try to gleam information through Soren voicing/Sophia's PLs since no one evades distracts.

Mafia has a lot of information at their disposal, make use of it and try to eliminate PRs before they can get you out. Then you should turn your attention to any lone roles.

Lone roles merely just want to last as long as they can. Ashnard and Demon King both want the other mafias out over the village, but both appreciate village KILLERS taken out as well.

Looking for a slow-paced logic puzzle that is like Clue and Mafia fused into one game? Try DNR! The Kira mafia can only kill people whose name they know, and the Investigators (L, Near, Mello) can only inspect people if they guess their name correctly. Team Kira has Inspectors who can help them find out people's names, while the Task Force has a Safeguarder and some Distracters to slow down the Inspectors.

The vote is silent, requires a majority, and doesn't result in someone being eliminated from the game necessarily. Whoever is voted off has their role revealed instead.

Kira wins by killing everyone except L/Near/Mello, or by killing L, Near, and Mello. The Task Force wins by having L, Near, or Mello arrest Light.

    Task Force
    Investigators (L, Near, Mello):
You can guess two people's roles during the night. Type /is [name]:[role] to make a guess. At the end of the night, you'll find out if you guessed correctly or not.

Warning: Even if you use /is [name]:Light, you will not be able to find Light that way. Light evades your investigation and always appears as "not Light." In order to find Light, the best way to go about this is to find everyone else's role.

When you think you've found Light, use /arrest [name] to defeat him. THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOU FOUND LIGHT, NOT MISA OR TERU. If you guess wrong, you die. But if you guess right, you win!

The other Investigators are also looking for Light, but only the first one of you to find him can win. In that sense, you are all competitors.
    FBI (Raye and Naomi):
You can /question [name] during the night to distract someone. This will block Misa, Teru, Kiyomi, or Soichiro from their night actions, but not Light or any Investigators.

Use /tt to talk to your partner (if they're in the game). If one of you dies, the other (Raye or Naomi) will be revealed.

    Soichiro:
You can help the village by Safeguarding people, which blocks them from being inspected by Misa or Kiyomi. If you find an Investigator, keep them safe by Safeguarding them, making it nearly impossible for Light to eliminate them!

By the way, you can Safeguard yourself! Try to not to be predictable though, since Light will probably try to write you as Soichiro if he learns you were Safeguarded all the time.

Everyone Else (Matsuda, Aizawa, Ukita, Mogi, Ide, Wedy, Aiber):
Massclaim won't work, so don't reveal your role to anyone you're not sure you can trust. Vote whoever you think is suspicious, and their role will be revealed in front of everyone.

    Kira
    Light
You can /write [name]:[role] twice during the night to try and eliminate someone. This will kill them if you guessed their role correctly. Try to keep track of who you already wrote in order to make the most efficient guesses.

You cannot kill any of the Investigators (L, Near, Mello) without help - they ignore Write. Get Misa or Kiyomi to Inspect one of them, removing their kill immunity for that night! You may need to eliminate any FBI or Soichiro before being able to reach the Investigators, since they can block Misa and Kiyomi's inspections.

If a kill fails, it will send a message to everyone in the game informing them that Kira tried to kill them. To avoid suspicion, you could try writing your own name (with the incorrect role) in order to confuse the Task Force. You cannot kill any of your teammates, but the fail message will always appear if you try.
    Misa and Kiyomi
Your task is to find out everyone's role and feed that information to Light or Teru. You can /Inspect [name] during the night. Connect with Light or Teru immediately if you find them!

If you inspect an Investigator (L, Near, Mello), they will become vulnerable to Light or Teru's kill. Coordinate your actions so you can eliminate your most dangerous enemies!

    Teru
You can /write [name]:[role] during the night. You cannot teamkill, but if you try to write Light's name, you will receive a message that tells you if you found him. Your kill always appears after Light's due to /priority. Try to hunt for dangerous PRs like Soichiro, Raye, and Naomi! If Misa or Kiyomi contacts you, use their information to wreak havoc.

Your role is to spread confusion among the Task Force, in addition to finding useful information for your team. Use /expose [name] to reveal someone's role, or /[role] [name] to fake expose someone as that role! It may be wise to wait until you are connected with your teammates before using your true expose.

Hint: The pink message that appears below your expose message is more likely to appear if you used a fake expose!

    Spawn
Roles in Bold always spawn at the listed number of players. Unbolded roles may or may not spawn.

    Dethy
Dethy is a theme revolving around multiple inspectors.
    • Everyone on the village is an inspector, with the unique catch being there are 4 different kinds of inspectors.
    • Sane: always right.
    • Insane: always wrong.
    • Paranoid: always sees someone as a mafia.
    • Naive: always sees someone as an inspector.

    Inspector (Inspector)
You can inspect one person every night. The mafia can't kill until the second night, so you will be guaranteed to get at least one inspect in.

What kind of inspector am I?
This is usually pretty straightforward, but I thought I would touch on it anyways. If you get a mafia result one night and an inspector result another night, you are either a sane or insane inspector. Usually the best way to find out which is to vote for one or the other. However, if you're paying attention to any possible votes or the results others are getting, sometimes you can determine who is more likely to be mafia. If someone appears or claims to be naive or paranoid, it's better to lynch them (if you need to in a 50/50) as they are less likely to have information to confirm a mafia. Other things to pay attention to are when (and if) people are revealing their results, whether or not their results contradict information they claimed to give earlier, who they are attacking (suggesting to lynch), and who they are defending (supporting or trying to make sure someone isn't lynched).

    Revealing information
Personally, I choose not to give out my result after the first night. Sometimes the mafia tend to kill people that have inspected them, regardless of whether the result was a mafia or inspector. Furthermore, no one can even determine if anyone is sane or insane until day 2 at the earliest. Because of this, I wait until just before the end of the second night to reveal my result as well as reveal who I am inspecting. It's also a good idea not to say who you are inspecting, as the mafia can simply kill your target which means you get no information from that night. (You could always bluff it, but it usually doesn't work.) One last tip is figuring out the chance that you're sane or insane rather than naive or paranoid. For example, say a game starts with 7 inspectors: 2 sane, 2 insane, 3 naive, 1 paranoid. Given the large amount of naive inspectors, this means that you have a whopping 80% chance to be a sane or insane inspector if you get a mafia result night 1. In a setup like this, revealing that you found a mafia result will make you highly susceptible to being killed the following night. Therefore this is a scenario where you would be better off waiting until just before the second night ends to reveal your first night result.

    Suspecting Others
Much of a repeat from earlier, keep an eye out for people not revealing results, revealing 'useless' results (potential naive or paranoid inspectors), and those revealing results only after everyone else has revealed their results. Also, remember to keep track of the initial number of types of inspectors from day 1. If it seems like there are "five possible naive inspectors" when there were only two to start off with, there's a decent chance the mafia is probabaly at least one of them (assuming there are very few sane inspectors). Another thing to watch for is what people say before they are killed or who they are accusing before being killed. If you happen to lynch a mafia and it confirms a sane or insane inspector (assuming there is no bussing), it's normally not a good idea to inspect that person, as the mafia will usually kill that person the very next night. The exceptions include if there are two or more sane or insane inspectors confirmed or you want to confirm whether or not you are sane or insane. When it comes down to it, it's a matter of paying attention and reading what people say.

    Mafia (Mafia)
You are a basic mafia and you share one kill with your teammates every night. However, you can't kill until the second night. To hide within the village and not draw suspicion, you can usually just fake results and come off looking like a naive or paranoid inspector. To make this more effective and believable though, you will want to kill off possible sane and insane inspectors.

Eliminating potential sane and insane inspectors
Doing this as early as your first kill on the second night is just a simple process of chance and attentiveness. For example, say a game starts with 7 inspectors: 2 sane, 2 insane, 3 naive, 1 paranoid. Given the large amount of naive inspectors, this means that an inspector has a whopping 80% chance to be a sane or insane inspector if they get a mafia result night 1. You should prioritize killing that person first, as well as any other inspectors that got mafia results in that setup. To keep it simple, if there are more naives than paranoids to start the game, focus killing those that get mafia results. If there are more paranoids than naives to start the game, focus on killing those that get inspector results. Of course, once a sane or insane inspector has been confirmed (especially if they've found you out or your teammates), kill that person as soon as possible.

    Dethy Style Bussing
Make sure you have your teammates' permission before doing this. One of the most effective ways to bus in this theme is to bluff being a sane or insane inspector by giving fake results; pretend you inspected your teammate the first night and got them as a mafia, then "inspect" someone from the village and say you got them as inspector. This will force them to 50/50 between one of their own teammates and your own teammate. If they choose to vote your teammate off, it will 'confirm' you as a sane (or insane, depending on the results you gave) inspector, and you have a pretty good chance to control the village with your fake results. Of course, if you try to suspect another potential sane or insane inspector, or people start wondering why you haven't been killed after helping to lynch your teammate, you will easily draw suspicion and risk being lynched. Usually, if they vote their ally off first instead, it's almost a guaranteed win as they have not only mislynched, but will have to use the next phase to lynch your teammate while your team gets another kill, and the attention is most likely not on you (yet).

    Default
Here's a guide for Default, one of the first themes you should play if you're new to Mafia.

    Villager
If you're a villager, it's important that you vote during the day to help eliminate Werewolf and Mafia players. If someone on your side like the Inspector or Pretty Lady claims, or whispers you information, listen to them and help vote according to their information. Never assume that Villager is a worthless role: without your vote, the Village can't win!
You might also be a Miller, which is no different from a Villager except that the Inspector will think you're Mafia. If you're being voted, remember that it's not necessarily because the Inspector is lying, but perhaps they were thrown off because of your fake reveal.

    Neighbor
As the Neighbor, your role is to try and connect good Village roles. /Greet people during the night, and always ask them to claim to your privately. If they are Mafia, they might claim Villager and kill you at the next chance they get, so be wary of scumtells. If you catch someone claiming a role they can't be, remember to reveal them because they're probably Mafia.

    Inspector
The Inspector's job is to find the bad guys and vote them off during the day. If possible, be discreet about it. You don't want the Mafia Boss or the Werewolf to find out if you're the Inspector, since the former will Distract you, while the latter will be able to kill you even if you're protected! If you find good guys, remember to whisper to them so they don't vote you. If you find a major threat, such as the Werewolf or Godfather, it may be worth it to claim in order to reveal them.
There may be two Inspectors in some game sizes. In that case, you share the Inspect. Remember to communicate with your partner and try and lead the Village in the right direction.

    Bodyguard
As the Bodyguard, your role is to Protect people you think are good, or otherwise are likely targets for a Mafia kill. Examples of this are if the Neighbor reveals themselves to you, you should protect them. If the Inspector claims, you should protect them even if there's a Werewolf, just in case the Werewolf messes up.

    Pretty Lady
The Pretty Lady can stop actions during the night with Distract. This only works if it hits the person who submitted the action, however, for roles who share actions. For example, if Player A and B are the Mafia, A inputs the Mafia's kill, and you distract B, the Mafia will still be able to kill. That said, if you Distract someone and the amount of deaths at the end of the night are reduced, that person is likely Mafia, and you should lead a vote on them.
If there's a Werewolf, be careful about who you Distract. It may be wise to let someone know who you are Distracting in case you die.

    Mayor
If you're the Mayor, you are able to vote off Mafia in a 1v1 scenario, making you a very valuable part of the village. Because of that, it's best to stay hidden for most of the game, and support votes which you think are well-informed.

    Deputy
The Deputy can /search someone to find out if they used any actions during the night. If you Search someone and they did not use any actions that night, be sure to whisper to them. That means they are almost certainly a villager, and you can have them voice for you.

    Vigilante
As the Vigilante, you can Kill during the night to remove people you think are bad. This is very useful if applied wisely, but be sure not to abuse it. Don't kill people unless you're fairly sure they're Mafia. Otherwise, you'll just be helping the Mafia out.

Mafia / Italian Mafia / French Canadian Mafia
The Mafia are the bad guys in this theme. Do not reveal your role to anyone! Your goal is to kill off the good guys, which includes the Villagers, Inspectors, Neighbor, and Bodyguard among others without being discovered. Try to blend in with the good guys so they don't suspect you to be Mafia.
If you are the Boss of your team, you can Distract during the night as well. Use this on the Inspector if the Inspector claims, or else try and disrupt other Power Roles on the village such as the Pretty Lady and Bodyguard.

    Werewolf
The Werewolf is alone, but it has many abilities that make it more threatening than the Mafia. You should aim to eliminate as many Power Roles on the village as possible. If someone on the Village is taking a leading role and voting off Mafia, it may be wisest to kill them. If someone claims Inspector, you should also kill them since your kill cannot be blocked by Protect.

    Godfather
As the Godfather, your best bet is to lay low and target village leaders with your kills. You survive 1 or 2 nightkills depending on how large the game is, and you can Inspect to find Power Roles to take out. Use your two kills to blow holes in the village's ranks.
