So you guys know the drill. Find ways to break/improve current Pokemon in the current LC tier. There's been a severe lack of interesting discussion topics in LC so why don't we do a fun one?

    Lileep (M) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 148 HP / 140 Def / 108 SAtk / 60 SDef / 12 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Giga Drain
    - Recover
    - Earth Power
    - Diamond Storm

This would definitely make Lileep much better. Lileep in sand is already a pain to kill so why not give it Sand Stream?

    EVs: 236Att/212Spe/36 def
    Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtt)
    - Head smash
    - Earthquake
    - Close Combat
    - Do you really need a last move?

    YESH

    EDIT: Completely missed that X3

    Cranidos (M) @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Rock Head
    EVs: 60 HP / 236 Atk / 212 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Head Smash
    - Earthquake
    - Superpower
    - Zen Headbutt

Scarf allows it to outspeed all the nonscarfed mons. Head Smash coming from 24 attack is very dangerous. Rock Head allows it to hit without taking recoil too!

    Cranidos (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Speed Boost
    EVs: 60 HP / 236 Atk / 212 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Head Smash
    - Earthquake
    - Superpower
    - Protect

Best late game cleaner ever! Protect to get a boost and destroy with Head Smash and Earthquake. Superpower for filler :).

    EDIT: Chlorine Ninjaing me :(

I'll point out that while some LC ones have been done in the "OU" section, there's no reason this shouldn't have its own thread.

    Frillish (M) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Bulletproof
    EVs: 236 HP / 236 SDef / 36 Spd
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Recover
    - Will-O-Wisp / Scald
    - Taunt
    - Shadow Ball

Hit me with your best shot, Misdreavus. You too, Ferroseed. Fire away. Bulletproof is one amazing ability, and if this thing had it, it would be a monster to KO.

    >Modest

    Omanyte (F) @ Berry Juice
    Level: 5
    Trait: Sturdy
    EVs: 76 HP / 196 SAtk / 236 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Shell Smash
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
    - Earth Power

Omanyte has one of the highest Special Attack stats in the tier, combined with a Shell Smash it hits 36 in SAtk. With Sturdy and Berry Juice it'll be one of the best Pokémon in LC!

    - Body Slam
    - Knock off

The 3rd most specially defensive poke in the tier...Have fun breaking this c:

    Trait: Mold Breaker
    EVs: 76 HP / 180 Atk / 196 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Acrobatics
    - Stone Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Knock Off
This would be fun. A bunch of fun.

    (Shellder) (F) @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Skill Link
    EVs: 36 HP / 156 Atk / 36 Def / 76 SDef / 196 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Rock Blast
    - Icicle Spear
    - Ice Shard
    - Water Shuriken
Shell smash set could work too, but that would be fun.

    Ponyta (F) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Drought
    EVs: 156 Atk / 76 Def / 76 SDef / 196 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Morning Sun
    - Wild Charge
    - Flare Blitz
    Win.

    Notice the fur ball.

    Staryu @ Eviolite
    Level: 5
    Trait: Drizzle
    EVs: 40 HP / 196 SAtk / 236 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Hydro Pump
    - Thunder
    - Rain Dance
    - Recover

Speaking of weather! Staryu would be the one that will fit best with Drizzle!

Chinchou (F) @ Choice Scarf / Choice Specs
    Trait: Drizzle
    EVs: 52 Def / 228 SAtk / 220 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Hydro Pump
    - Thunder
    - Volt Switch
    - Ice Beam

This should be a little broken, although it's interesting to note it could counter itself if it could run 3 abilities at once.

Maybe something to hit Snover>Ice Beam.

Edit: Ninja'd by Drizzle Staryu. I object! Staryu in auto-rain would be cool, but Chinchou has Dual STAB ThunderPump. Both break the tier anyway.

In more of a theorymonning than break a pokemon aspect, what are yalls thoughts on gendered klink?

All of a sudden it gets access to shift gear and gear grind to /attempt/ sweeping. 40/70/60 bulk isn't bad either. If you wanted to make it anymore usable you could go so far as to give it some coverage moves like EQ (dunno) or rock slide.

If Klink was allowed to breed, I honestly think it would be one of the more used Pokemon in LC. While it still looses to fighting types, Steel is a good attacking type in LC, and it wouldn't have to worry about Abras and sturdy smashers like other set up sweepers do.

    Lileep (M) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Regenerator
    EVs: 148 HP / 140 Def / 108 SAtk / 60 SDef / 12 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Giga Drain
    - Recover
    - Earth Power
    - Nasty Plot

Yup. I think this would be insanely powerful in LC. Lileep is so easy to break.

    Goomy (F) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Hydration
    EVs: 76 HP / 156 Def / 236 SAtk / 36 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Rain Dance
    - Rest
    - Thunder
    - Hydro Pump
In my opinion, the biggest thing holding Goomy back as a rain abuser is his move pool. Power up his moves a bit and there you go.

    Imagine this lil monster being added to LC...wai cleffa ;-;
    anyways:
    Darumaka (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 36 HP / 196 Atk / 76 Def / 196 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Flare Blitz
    - Rock Slide
    - Superpower
    - U-turn

And all of a sudden we have a physical tangela (minus the bolk of course) in the tier to break sun offense again~

    Anorith @ Life Orb
    Trait: Technician
    Adamant Nature (+Atk -SAtk)
    EV: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 Spd
    Swords Dance
    Pin Missile
    Rock Blast
    Knock Off

Ohh yeah! Say hello to one of the most powerful physical attackers in the tier.

One thing I'd be interested in was what if Rufflet (and Braviary for that matter) could be male or female? We could have Brave Bird Rufflet in LC, which combined with Hustle giving it an attack stat on par with monsters like Meditite and Bunnelby would make it incredibly powerful.

    - Dragon Dance

Imo, this is going to be SO fun to use :3

Well, this was the case for a while, it was sort of a bug (the Shift Gear anyway, still no coverage). It was "ok". Still doesn't compare to powerhouses like Murkrow, it's still even outclassed by Dratini unfortunately.
Better late than never, but this did happen. (With the coverage, I think it'd still be shat on by Sucker Punches, Mach Punches and bulky mon that are neutral to its coverage.

    Also
    Brave Bird Fletchling
Recover Croagunk (it'd be fun, don't hate)
Bunnelby with its ground typing (fuck Volt Switch yo)
Helioptile with its theorised stats (20 speed, like 19 Spatk)

Helioptile would essentially nullify the need for scarf chinchou with those stats...
Croagunk would be as common (if not more so) as mienfoo, timburr and co.
Brave bird fletch would be just as good as murkrow (without the coverage BUT with a great prio, set up and over heat)

Honestly not sure how EQ bunny would change the tier...

    Really want recov gunk now ;-;

Bunny has access to EQ, he meant Bunnelby being Normal/Ground!

I knew that...? I meant STAB EQ bunny...

Still lost on changing the tier since return is still more stronf and eq already rapes...

    This thing will destroy LC:

Meditite (F) @ Eviolite / Life Orb / Choice Scarf...
    Trait: Pure Power
    EVs: 116 HP / 196 Atk / 196 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Fake Out
    - Knock Off
    - Zen Headbutt / Psycho Cut
    - High Jump Kick / Drain Punch

Meditite is already one of the biggest threats in LC hence the current suspect, imagine if it had access to Knock Off! :o

    (22, 22, 22, 22, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25, 27)
